We stayed here for one night. There are two Victorian houses with some lovely features ( stained glass windows plus lovely wooden panelling and staircases ). We were in a separate house to the owners where breakfast is served ( just across the driveway ). There is a large car park behind the house. Owners are lovely and friendly and said we could use the large well maintained garden to sit in. We had a downstairs double room. With triple glazing and comfortable bed we had a good nights sleep. Room was a little tired hence one point mark down. We would stay again but in a different room.

Lovely family room next to main B&B, large, 2 double beds, nice en-suite. Just off M62. Very warm welcome, lovely breakfast. 1 junction away from Xscape Castleford less than 10 mins drive. Ample off road parking

We stayed at the Wentvale whilst in the area for a wedding and it was the perfect place for a large group of us. The rooms were clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated and the owners were exceptionally nice. There were full englishes prepared for each of us in the morning (with a vegetarian option available) and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Added bonus that it is also only a 10 min walk to the train station and has space for cars outside, making it really easy to get to. If you are staying in Knottingley we can’t recommend this place enough!

A very friendly welcome from our hosts. A really friendly couple . Lovely, clean and nicely furnished rooms. It was nice to be provided with the WiFi code and tea and coffee making facilities.The most beautiful and Immaculate garden. So pretty and well cared for. Tasty breakfast. We will definitely return.
