Мы проживали в отеле неделю в апреле. Начну, пожалуй, с еды. Сложно сказать, насколько был заселен отель, но на ужин только в один из дней мы пришли спустя 15 минут после его начала, и возникла проблема с тем, что еды просто уже не было, и однажды были на обеде, очень спешили, но спустя 20 минут нам только вынесли еду, поесть мы не успели, хоть и объясняли персоналу, что спешим, во все остальные дни подобных проблем не возникало. У нас были ужины и завтраки, подавали всегда примерно одно и тоже, но все, что было, было вкусным и полностью покрывало потребности в питании на отдыхе, да, никаких особых изысков не было, но всегда можно было найти, что съесть, и это совершенно точно было вкусным! Персонал отеля хоть и улыбчивый, но решать вопросы и проблемы с первого раза получалось не всегда, это касалось и проблем в номере, и ситуации на обеде, о чем писала выше, над этим руководству действительно следует задуматься. Если говорить о минусах- система кондиционирования хромает, сотрудник отеля помочь с ней нам тоже не смог, в итоге мы ее отключили вовсе, но при этом в номере всегда было прохладно, сантехника требует ремонта (у нас в номере рукоятка от крана просто отржавела и снималась при каждой попытке регулирования и включения воды), с этой проблемой мы обращаться не стали вовсе, потому что понимали, что переселяться не хотим, а во время нашего заезда проблема вряд ли решится. Два важных момента - рядом с отелем идет строительство нового отеля, поэтому завтраки сопровождались звуками перфоратора и прочих инструментов, днем мы в номере не бывали, вечером было уже тихо, второй- отель расположен рядом с мечетью, особенно это стоит учитывать тем, у кого чуткий сон. Все то, что я написала выше, может быть для кого -то важными критериями при выборе отеля, но для нас эти моменты хоть и отложились в памяти, но абсолютно не омрачили отдыха, потому что казались абсолютными мелочами, которые не перекрыли всех плюсов отеля, таких как: питание(все действительно было очень вкусным), шикарный вид из номера, прекрасное месторасположение отеля(до пляжа 30 минут медленным шагом, много супермаркетов поблизости, в шаговой доступности Марина молл и колесо обозрения, а также станция метро), наличие всех принадлежностей в номере и фена, ежедневная уборка, наличие кухни (включая микроволновку и всю-всю посуду), единственное, чего не хватало- сушилки, но все это решаемо, поэтому персоналу отеля большое спасибо за прекрасный отдых и процветания!
ゲゲストWe had a one bedroom suite with a kitchen with sea view. It was very well equipped, with dishwasher and washing machine. Very comfortable bed. Very clean on arrival and cleaned every day with fresh towels etc. The hotel has excellent facilities - large restaurant area, gym and swimming pool. Breakfast choice was superb. It is very well located - short walking distance to the Tram (Palm Jumeirah station) and the monorail to the Palm. Most notably are the hotel staff who were always welcoming, polite and helpful -especially Main at the hotel reception who was very helpful when we needed a doctor
IIpek EmilyMy husband and I had our first holiday as a family of three with our 7 month old baby at Voco Dubai The Palm Hotel. We chose this hotel as it had a private beach (we didn’t want to spend time travelling to a beach each day), was located away from the chaos of Dubai, offered a king size bed (I cosleep with my baby), and there was an option for including breakfast (again did not want to spend time searching for or travelling to a breakfast location with a baby). Compared to other surrounding hotels, it is a relatively small and new hotel. However, this only enhanced our positive experience as it added a more personal touch. The valets (sorry I didn’t catch their names!) took our car down to the car park while other members of staff took our luggage to our room. Diana at the front desk was the first team member we met inside and made us feel very welcome. Our room was very spacious and clean. Thank you to Arun Gawam from Housekeeping! We enjoyed our coffee pods and Biscoff biscuits provided after each thorough clean. Some reviews mentioned noise but we only heard some drilling upstairs during the day and some music outside on Friday and Saturday night. Neither of these bothered us or our baby. The breakfast buffet was amazing and had plenty of choice with some of the options changing on each day so we had some variety. The welcoming, dynamic staff knew our tea and coffee orders from day one and always greeted us with smiles. We were asked daily if we wanted our eggs cooked in a certain way. This was great because our baby is just getting started on solids. Our baby girl loved seeing all the hardworking, smiley members of staff waving at her every morning. I would particularly like to thank Rojean, Rashmi and Aldrin as well as Fasha, Shiela, Juliet, Dioseth, Anu, Marion, Fhaizan, Amin, Chef Prabin, Chef James, Chef Anyu, Ariz, Sun and Puja. The private beach was a highlight of our holiday. We loved the easy and quick access to the beach with bottles of water and beach towels provided upon arrival. The cabanas were great for privacy as I had to breastfeed my baby on the beach. The WiFi was hit and miss on the beach but I guess that helped us relax more. Thank you to Bidan, Chamodi and Roni for taking care of us there! The only downside for me was the lack of power socket to plug the hairdryer in the bathroom or next to the mirror in front of the bathroom or by the mirror in front of the desk. We had to plug the hairdryer in the socket by the bed and therefore had to dry our hair on the bed, which wasn’t a major issue, just an inconvenience and a little loud right next to our baby. Overall, it was a great holiday experience thanks to each and every member of staff!
ゲゲストDubai was a stop over for us and we chose the Golden Sands hotel since it was nearer to the airport and on the creek which I have stayed at before and loved. We arrived very early in the morning so understood we would have to wait a while for our room which was fine. However when checking in we asked if there were a possibility of taking our room earlier. The gentleman advised that he had a room available but not until 10.30am. It was 8.30am at this point and we decided to go for a walk, take in some sights, breakfast etc so agreed to take the 10.30am room. When we arrived back the same receptionist was no longer there. We were greeted instead by what I believe was the Floor manager. She was very courteous and said the room shouldn't be too long, an hour later and we were still sat waiting.... We ended up not getting our room until 1pm despite continually asking at reception. Not a good start. The rooms are nice, very clean and the view was lovely over the creek. The pool area is very small and not like it portrays in the photos. There was absolutely no shaded areas at all so pretty impossible to relax in the Dubai heat. We also asked for coffee and was told we needed to get this downstairs. Now I come to the disastrous bit.... I saw an advertisement for Keratin treatment for the hair and given we were headed to the Seychelles I thought this would be a good idea as my hair became frizzy in the humidity. On arriving for my appointment in the salon the Manager began the treatment. He at no point asked me if I had bleach in my hair (i had highlights 1 week before I arrived), he also failed to let me know that I could not get my hair wet or sweat for at least 2 weeks following the treatment which I later learned on google. He put the treatment on my hair, didn't have much to say and to be honest I found him a little aloof, he also told me he hated Dubai and couldn't wait to move which I found odd. After around 45 mins of the treatment being on my hair the salon manage returned and without explaining what he was doing, began to run a very hot iron though my hair pulling it as he went. At this point I notice my hair was turning yellow. I asked him if this was normal and he said it was. He continued to pull the red hot iron through my (wet) hair and now my hair is literally breaking and falling out. I began to panic and was getting very upset a this point but he just kept saying it was the dead hair falling out and that everything was normal! He then asked me if I'd had bleach recently in my hair - I couldn't believe he'd left it till now to ask me that! I asked him to remove the treatment immediately because it was destroying my hair. Again he didn't listen. In the end I was persistent and he removed it, dried my hair and basically I was horrified at the result. My hair had different shades of blue and green and was very very damaged. So much hair had been lost. I was incredible upset as anyone can imagine. I'd already paid for the
