We travelled over to visit family locally and decided to stay the night instead of a day trip for a change. The Lodge is beautiful and quirky with lots of interesting details. The room - ours was a ”Classic” - was just stunning! Well appointed, very comfortable and ours was pretty quiet. There was some disturbance from some very rude quests fairly late, but the staff dealt with them incredibly quickly and professionally and we never heard another peep. Special mention to Kirsty who was happy to chat about the history of the hotel and made us very welcome. We dined at their pub/restaurant just across the road, which was equally as warm and friendly - food was superb too!
