We initially chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station and its recent opening. The drive up the narrow mountain road, full of sharp turns, was a bit unsettling for our city Didi driver, so we were secretly relieved (as was our driver) when we finally arrived. At first glance, the hotel seemed quite simple, and I wasn’t entirely sure I had made the right choice. However, any lingering doubts were quickly washed away by the warm welcome from Derek, the hotel manager, and the staff. When we got to our room, it was pure joy! The minimalist design is visually soothing, and the balcony with its expansive mountain views made us feel like just hanging around and doing nothing was more than enough. If you're the kind of traveler who feels guilty about not doing anything, rest assured that the hotel is in a beautiful section of the mountain. There's a lovely old temple and a sacred spring pond nearby—Zhongfeng Temple and Shenshui Pavilion, I believe. You’ll also enjoy the energy of hikers rushing up and down the mountain. There are enough people to make it lively but not overwhelmingly crowded like Leidongping or Jinding, where the crowds can be exhausting. A special mention goes to Derek, who exceeded all our expectations. His kindness and professionalism reminded me of the kind of service you expect from a six-star hotel, where every need is anticipated. Derek went above and beyond, making our journey to Golden Summit and onward to Leshan much smoother and more enjoyable. Since we speak minimal Chinese, he kindly helped us communicate with the next hotel, explaining how to get there. He even offered us a free ride to the bus station when we struggled to find a Didi in the area. Derek also helped arrange our transfer to Leshan. We were incredibly impressed and grateful for his assistance. If I had to suggest one area for improvement, I’d say the dinner options could use some enhancement to match the overall excellence of the stay. A small tip: If your goal is to catch the sunrise and sunset at Golden Summit, you'll need to stay at one of the mountaintop hotels near Jinding. Logistically, getting to these hotels involves taking a bus from Baoguosi or Wuxiangang Station to Leidongping, then a cable car to the upper platform, followed by a roughly one-hour hike with steep steps to Jinding. It's manageable with a backpack, but not ideal with large luggage. That’s why we chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its close proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station, leaving our luggage there and heading up the mountain with just our backpacks.

Our stay was truly exceptional from beginning to end. The rooms were excellent—very comfortable, clean, spacious, and well maintained—but what really made this hotel special was the incredible level of hospitality and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The hotel prepared a special welcome dinner for us, and they also organized a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. They went far beyond what we normally expect from a hotel. Transportation was arranged for us to different tourist attractions, as well as to train and bus stations, making it extremely easy to explore the area. The staff also helped us plan our excursions to the different mountains nearby, giving us recommendations and making sure we were properly prepared. For our excursions, they even prepared lunch boxes with food and provided shoe covers, rain protection, umbrellas, and everything else we might need depending on the weather. These small details made a huge difference and allowed us to simply enjoy the experience without worrying about logistics. What impressed us the most was how attentive, kind, and proactive the entire staff was. They didn't just provide accommodation—they genuinely cared about making our whole trip as comfortable, easy, and enjoyable as possible. Whenever we needed something, they were ready to help, often anticipating what we might need before we even asked. The combination of excellent rooms, outstanding service, transportation, excursion assistance, thoughtful meals, and personal attention made this one of the most memorable hotel experiences of our trip. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel, especially to anyone planning to explore the mountains and attractions in the area. Xiao Zhou and his colleagues provided us with exceptional service during our one-night stay at the hotel! They were very nice and friendly, attentive to our needs and requests, and chatted with us in an open and welcoming manner whenever we inquired about aspects of the local environment, Mt Emei, etc. We had dinner at the hotel during our stay and ordered the chef's recommendations. The food was AMAZING and so fresh. The fish and chicken dishes that we had came from live fish and chicken that they reared within the hotel compound. If they were a local restaurant back in my country, I would frequent them without a doubt, and would love to bring my friends to try their cuisine. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, Xiao Zhou even brought us to take a look at the hotel's chicken coop and fish pond. When we had to leave for our hike to Mt Emei's summit, Xiao Zhou and his colleague kindly drove us to the nearest bus station so that it would be easier for us to access Mt Emei's public transportation, a gesture which we appreciated a lot! All in all, their attentiveness to us, good manners, and warm and friendly dispositions all contributed to a memorable stay. Of course, the rooms themselves were spotless and comfortable. Would love to come back here in the future!!

The good: - the location is fantastic with lots of hiking nearby and easy to get to the buses for Mt. Emei - the staff are very friendly The bad: - the hotel is definitely looking tired and dated: chipped woodwork in the rooms, flaking paint on the balcony. - only one of the many bars is open. Everytime we wanted to order something we were shown a huge menu, only to then be told most things were not available - this included wines, beers and food. - the hotel was incredibly quiet with the restaurant and bar being completely empty most of the time we were there. Whilst not the hotel’s fault, it dead mean a complete lack of atmosphere. - various items were listed as included when booking with Trip.com - none of them were available or in fact included. - when advise was needed from reception: the information given was often not accurate. The staff were wonderfully friendly, they just did not seem to have accurate information or to check it. Overall: this was the most expensive hotel booked during my three week tour of China and the most disappointing. I would unfortunately not recommend, especially in low season.

私はとても怠け者で、どんなホテルに泊まっても「雁が通り過ぎても足跡を残さず、人が通り過ぎても評価を残さない」タイプなのですが、峨眉山での2日間の滞在で、試しに予約しただけだったのに、高速鉄道を降りた瞬間からホテルの温かさと心遣いを強く感じました。この2年間、ヒルトン、パークハイアット、シャングリ・ラなどのホテルにも宿泊しましたが、正直なところ、それほど感動はありませんでした。しかし、ここでは、伝統的なホテルが守り続けているものを体験できました。設備は豪華絢爛とは言えませんが、細部に至るまで趣があります。自然の湖や山の景色に囲まれ、この山の空気を思う存分吸い込みたくなります。散歩すれば心身ともにリフレッシュできます。サービスに関しては言うまでもありません。運転手は黙って待っていてくれ、写真を撮ろうとするとさりげなく避けてくれる女性スタッフ、温かい挨拶など、すべてが印象に残っています。滞在中はずっと、スタッフの方々が地元のお天気やグルメ情報まで細やかに気を配ってくださり、常にサポートしてくれました。旅行者が求めているのは形式的なサービスではなく、まさにこの場所がもたらしてくれる「家にいるような居心地の良さ」なのだと強く感じました。もし再び峨眉山に来ることがあれば、いや、来なくても、この体験は忘れられないでしょう。

カスタマーサービススタッフは非常に熱心で、あらゆるニーズを迅速に解決します。私たちは焚き火を囲んでお茶を淹れ、3人分の料理を注文しました。料理の種類は豊富でした。 99元の二人前セットメニューもボリュームたっぷりで、下山後に温かいトウモロコシと豚スペアリブのスープを飲んで、とても心が温まりました。 18元の軽食セットもとても美味しかったです。夜、子供たちがお腹を空かせたので、フロントデスクに行って食べ物を注文しました。すぐに準備され、部屋に届けられました。 山に登る前に、フロントデスクにルートのヒントを具体的に尋ねておいたんです。そうしないと、間違ったバス停に行ってしまうところでした。どうもありがとうございます！ 登山の後は、専用の中庭や公共の温泉プールでゆっくりくつろぐことができます。 次回峨眉山に来るときは、このホテルに泊まりたいと思います〜

峨眉山展望温泉ホットスプリングハウスに宿泊した時の全体的な体験は忘れられないものでした。 まず、スープハウスの環境が本当に美しいです。 第二に、スープハウスの設備も素晴らしく、部屋の温泉プールは清潔で快適で、入浴時の水質も非常に良く、温泉風呂の組み合わせがあり、心身ともに十分にリラックスすることができました。 さらに、サービス面でも、スタッフは非常にフレンドリーで親切で、荷物を部屋まで運んでくれたり、フルーツやペストリーも用意してくれました。彼らの熱意のおかげで、まるで自分の家にいるかのように感じました。また、滞在をさらに快適にするためのサポートがいつでも受けられました。 最後に、清潔さのレベルですが、部屋の清潔さに満足しました。すべての設備がよく整備されており、安心して快適に過ごすことができました。 全体的に、滞在後の体験はとても快適でした。峨眉山展望温泉ホットスプリングハウスを強くお勧めします。リラックスするにも、美しい景色を楽しむにも、訪れる価値があります。

温泉に入りたくここの宿に決めました。 宿はとても綺麗で、温泉も40度ぐらいのあったかいお湯で満足でした。 水着を持っていなかったのですが受付で買うことが出来ました。 スタッフの方もとても親切で、常に問題はないか気にかけて下さり助かりました。日本語を少し話すスタッフもいてびっくりしました。 洗濯機、乾燥機も無料で使用できます。 また泊まりたいと思います。

Great service from all the staff here, who took good care of our needs during our stay. The free transfer from train station to the hotel is convenient. Special mention to Mr Li, the manager of the hotel, who was easy to deal with, and he tried his best to resolve issues during our stay. The hotel is renovated within last few years, looks good, is clean, but the functionality of the rooms is not as well designed as it could have been. Having said that, it was overall a pleasant stay. Location of the hotel is within a short walking distance to the Tourist Centre to enter Emeishan, and is situated right next to the river. Restaurant options nearby are limited however, and many not opened, perhaps due to current low season for tourists. Hotel breakfast is descent with reasonable range of food to choose from.
