Une bonne surprise. Après une balade à vélo dans la forêt vers Nemours, on s’est trouvé bloqués à Melun suite à une panne de train. Impossible de partir dans un sens ou dans l’autre et 56km à vélo pour rentrer dans Paris, on ne le sentait pas. A 22h, on a été très gentiment accueillis. Le Parc est magnifique, dommage que la piscine n’était pas opérationnelle. Chambre confortable, incroyablement calme alors qu’il y avait un mariage, petit-déjeuner sur la terrasse face au Parc. Tout le personnel est aux petits soins. Bref, on garde un bon souvenir de la panne à Melun. Je recommande

I do like Ibis Melun. It is a nice little hotel and I slept fairly well. The room is small, kind of standard ibis. The hotel is clean. I managed to get to the hotel via bus from Melun train station. The bus cost €2. There are super markets and fast food restaurant new the hotel. So it is fairly easy to get supplies. The only issue is taxi. The taxi driver recommended by the hotel does not speak much English. He depends on text message for google translation. And he is almost a bit late even if booked several hours ahead. Breakfast was good enough. Comfortable stay. If I ever come to Melun, I will stay here again.
