So, I went back and forth between a four and five. We stayed for four nights in a Signiel Premier Double room mainly to have access to the executive lounge which in other high-end hotels is generally pretty spectacular. Here, it's pretty useless consisting of mostly cookies and crackers for both morning and evening services. That being said, you stay here for the novelty of it and for the view. The view lived up to its billing and the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Outside of the thirty minute plus check in, the service was exceptional and friendly which bumped it to a five. I'm not sure why the Executive Lounge is so terrible. Seems nonsensical and I must be missing something. As far as I can tell, there are no rooms that come with breakfast. And breakfast is about $55 per person. If you just want a latte, that's about $19 US. Maybe that's why and they want you to pay up. Lastly, from a tourist's perspective, the location is away from everything and away from where the group tours start and you'll need to take a train to city hall. Just an inconvenience, but for the money, unless you really want to say you stayed there, there are probably better hotels with better amenities in better locations.
