Lovely place to get away from the daily chores and worries. A homely, welcoming atmosphere, where you can borrow the owners' dog for a stroll in the countryside and enjoy fine dining in the evening. Cosy, charming rooms. We will definitely return!

A unique and quirky hotel with a great concept, beautifully situated in a stunning landscape. There was a personal touch to everything, the welcome, the service, and each room has its own character. The terrace invited us to relax and enjoy a glass of vino. It was my second stay within two months, and I'd like to make this a habit!

We stayed in the old guesthouse „Blå Himel“. It is really VERY old and the comfort is bad. Everything is old and the whole house smells bad. The bathroom was an attached wet room. Windows could not be opened completely, so you have to accept the smell. Beds were fine, the hotel is VERY dog friendly. To us, this house should not be offered as a guest house, especially because the hotel has a better reputation! A renovation of the house should be done…

We were looking forward to a great dinner on the countryside of Scania, Sweden. Very nice location in the middle of nowhere. Food was great, well prepared. The wine to the food was a disaster. The waiter explained that my taste for wine was unique and that my judgement of the wine was wrong. The wine he just opened. Well, first the temperature of the (red) wine was 20c up and it was clear the wine was not recently opened ( colour was red-brown, so likely oxidised). My wife got the same wine, according to the waiter, which tasted significantly different. There was nothing to argue about; I was wrong. Price of a glass: SEK240,- (which is about €22-23). Would not recommend to go there, since the waiter opposing my tasting experience is “not acceptable”. Offering a new glass would be the only solution of saving his butt and having a returning customer.

It's av very special hotel. We booked Äppelkriget, a little cottage besides the main building. Bathroom with a bathtub and two large windows with a marvelous view. The service is very familiar and very good.

Very familiar place, lots of personal touch to room and restaurant interior design. Great food from local producers, cooked with love and great knowledge of each ingredient. Dinner was combined with a wine package, wines chosen carefully to match the food. Breakfast in the morning was more than we could expect. We loved every minute of our stay! We'll definitely come back!
