We really loved our stay at See Faraway. It felt like staying at a friend’s home. The setting has a dream like feeling. It’s a cozy place on the side of the mountain and surrounded by gardens. 王先生 was very kind and made us feel comfortable. He was always happy to offer assistance and he even made tiramisu one afternoon which was a nice surprise. The food was yummy and fresh homestyle. We decided to go out into town one night for dinner and really regretted it. It was nice coming back at the end of the day to a home cooked meal. The coffee is good too! The room was super super clean and cozy. All the towels and sheets smelt fresh. My wife really liked the soap brand they use so I guess it’s the good stuff. The view is stunning too and when it rained we chilled with the windows open inside reading and drawing. Also it’s easy to get a didi where ever you want and most things are 5-15 minute drive away but the hiking trails directly behind the hotel are amazing! There’s a lot to discover on your walk but I won’t spoil what you can find! I don’t often write reviews but I’m on the way back home and already missing the small mountain village. This place is really cool and I hope to visit again soon 🤗

We recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿（庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation. For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel. But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Overall, our stay was a bit disappointing, especially given the high reviews, which had set our expectations quite high. Although the hotel is relatively new, it lacks proper maintenance. The swimming pool and sunbathing area were not very clean. There was mold building up in the shower, and the rug in the room looked old and dirty. Additionally, there were no doors separating the bathroom and toilet areas, which was inconvenient. Sound insulation was poor — we could hear people talking in nearby rooms and common areas quite clearly. The hotel's location is right next to a busy road, which was not apparent from the photos. Contrary to the hotel description, there was no bamboo forest nearby, so our plan to escape the city for a peaceful countryside retreat didn’t work out as we had hoped. On a positive note, the hotel staff were very kind and helpful. Some fruit and tea were provided free of charge, and the homemade Chinese-style breakfast was decent. The hotel is also within walking distance to the town center and several restaurants, which was convenient.

We had an amazing stay at this villa. The owners are by far the best part of the stay. They are so nice and friendly. The man drove us around town a few times and helped us prepare things for our bbq. He set everything up and cleaned it up. Whenever we offered to help he never allowed us. The room was immaculate when we arrived and everyday if we left the room no matter what time they would go up and clean it. We got fresh bedding and towels everyday which was not necessary but a very nice thought. Anything we needed we could just ask and they would help us. We did book this place over others based on they had a resturant but just be ware you need to have a minimum of 8 people in your party to use it. This was no problem for us though as we just ate in town down the road. I would highly recommend this place for couples who want to sit and enjoy nature but also any families looking for a nice place to relax. They have an amazing garden and the pool was great too. Honestly have no complaints! The games room was awesome too!

ホームステイに足を踏み入れると、中華民国の雰囲気を感じることができます。黄の旧居は緑の木に囲まれています。初日に泊まった小さなバンガローは、古いオーシャンハウスのスタイルに満ちています。翌日泊まった1ベッドルームは暖かくてエレガントです。 、私は多くの考えを費やしていることがわかります。庭には樹齢200年の木が2本あり、1本は300年以上もあり、そこにいると時間の流れを感じるようです。女将の朝食も必見です。ワンタン麺に詰め物の秘密のレシピは聞けないので残念です。ホームステイには2匹の親切な犬、ジャガイモ、ハリーもいて、3日間でたくさんの幸せな思い出をくれました。いつかここに戻ってくると思います。

莫干山星空院民宿は、莫干山の麓にひっそりと佇む、中国風と現代風が融合した隠れ家的な民宿です。 私たちが宿泊した中庭付きの部屋は、中国古来の魅力が溢れ、細部に至るまで精緻で洗練された雰囲気が漂っています。木製の家具と柔らかな照明が調和し、温かく穏やかな雰囲気を醸し出しています。部屋に入るとすぐにくつろげました。 民宿のオーナーは北方出身で、情熱的で寛大、明るく親切な方です。 民宿の弟分は風のように優しく、優しく囁いてくれます。 民宿のおばさんは卓越した職人技を持っています。本格的な家庭料理は、一口一口が至福のひとときです。 中庭の空気は新鮮で、まさに天然酸素バーのよう。陳さんと二人で、新鮮な空気を存分に吸い込みました。はは…陳さんの無料コンサートも楽しかったです。 すべてが素晴らしかったです〜 リラックスして自然の美しさを楽しめる場所をお探しなら、ぜひここへお越しください〜

This hotel is absolutely amazing, and the service is truly at the level of a five-star luxury hotel. Every member of the staff is incredibly kind, polite, and genuinely does their best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel service I have experienced in my 10 years living in China. The room was spotless, with a breathtaking view through a huge floor-to-ceiling window. The bed linen was exceptionally soft and comfortable. At any time, you can order complimentary coffee or tea, and the hotel also offers fresh fruit. We even received a lovely gift – their own locally produced tea. I wholeheartedly give this hotel the highest possible rating. It is absolutely worth staying here, and the location is perfect. I can’t recommend it enough!

We stayed in a villa with a stunning view of the mountains, truly a beautiful and peaceful location. The villa itself was well-designed and had a lot of charm, making it a memorable place to relax with friends. However, from a service perspective, there were several small inconveniences that added up. You can't reach the villa directly by taxi, which made arrival and departure a bit complicated. There’s no on-site restaurant, and while food delivery is possible, you can’t have it brought directly to the villa, which is not ideal. Inside the villa, we were a group of six, but found only a few pairs of slippers and not enough tea, basic amenities that should match the number of guests booked. These oversights suggest a need for more attention to detail in guest preparation. Overall, a beautiful place that could become exceptional with a few service improvements, especially with the high level of competition around.

The service was the true standout of our stay at this B&B! The owner and his wife were so kind and welcoming to us during our stay. Anything we needed (included a request for a Bluetooth speaker and bicycles to explore the area) they accommodated. We ate lunch once and dinner twice there…the food was simple, fresh, and delicious. On our second night when we requested dinner we were invited to eat dinner with their family and have some beers, which made our stay feel warm and memorable—it was such a nice experience. Although we are foreigners and have limited Chinese language ability both the boss and his wife were so friendly and thoughtful! Anything you need can be requested on WeChat. The location is beautiful and tucked perfectly into the mountains (beware though, most restaurants and shops will require at least a 15 minute walk to reach…this didn’t bother us much though because we several meals at the homestay). Overall, a wonderful stay that we would definitely recommend to others!

Good bed, with very comfortable mattress and bedding. Water pressure in the  shower was excellent but not good for running a bath - might be due to the bath being upstairs in the bedroom? The Chinese breakfast offered was a range of several dishes but too many for me - a single traveler. It was also handy to be able to order an evening meal - the sweet and sour pork was tasty. There are facilities available to make your own BBQ. I saw other guests using these  The location was exactly what I wanted - away from the hustle of towns - it was a 25-30 minutes DiDi ride to get to the Transport Centre to go up Mogan Mountain. My bedroom door opened a few feet from  wooden steps taking me and my dog straight into a bamboo forest.  It was a chilled and relaxing stay.  One improvement - add a small fridge to the room.
