We recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿（庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation. For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel. But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. We really loved our stay at See Faraway. It felt like staying at a friend’s home. The setting has a dream like feeling. It’s a cozy place on the side of the mountain and surrounded by gardens. 王先生 was very kind and made us feel comfortable. He was always happy to offer assistance and he even made tiramisu one afternoon which was a nice surprise. The food was yummy and fresh homestyle. We decided to go out into town one night for dinner and really regretted it. It was nice coming back at the end of the day to a home cooked meal. The coffee is good too! The room was super super clean and cozy. All the towels and sheets smelt fresh. My wife really liked the soap brand they use so I guess it’s the good stuff. The view is stunning too and when it rained we chilled with the windows open inside reading and drawing. Also it’s easy to get a didi where ever you want and most things are 5-15 minute drive away but the hiking trails directly behind the hotel are amazing! There’s a lot to discover on your walk but I won’t spoil what you can find! I don’t often write reviews but I’m on the way back home and already missing the small mountain village. This place is really cool and I hope to visit again soon 🤗

An excellent weekend Getaway from Shanghai. Our stay in Arcadia was amazing, located in a beautiful mountain valley of MoganShan the setting was perfect for a relaxing break. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly and the food was always delicious and freshly prepared for us. We spent most of our time sat by the pool or in the Jacuzzi. It’s also a lovely spot to bring your dog, with an enclosed garden and lots of space. Definitely recommend to stay!

Extremely sweet staff who are extremely friendly and welcoming. The check-in process was quick and swift. We got there after 8 pm on a Friday night and the front desk was available and waiting for us. They allowed night swimming and had great a spacious Karaoke facility. This hotel /BnB is pet friendly and so our 2 fur kids were not discriminated against and was treated with a great care. Jinx is the girl at the front desk and she is very kind, always going the extra mile for us, even sending us locations and attractions close by on wechat. They provided us with a DIY barbecue on Saturday night and allowed us to have a party till quite If I could suggest a few things it would be: 1. The cats in the cat enclosure have not had their space cleaned in weeks. There are feces and spider webs inside the 'space'. The cats never come out and look very unhappy. Please can they be better taken care of. 2. Rooms can be swept and cleaned daily. 3. Breakfast can be less dough based but some more fruit and healthier food options. Overall, we would definitely visit again and really enjoyed such a warm environment.

Good for taking beautiful photos for the social media but rather poor user experience. Aesthetics of this place are good, some corners are really charming. Still it is the comfort that we value the most in a hotel as well as the quality service and unfortunately they are not at the same level of the aesthetics. The room is huge but there is no sofa or chairs to sit and chat comfortably, just the two enormous heavy armchairs in the opposite corners of this long room. No mini bar/fridge, very poor lighting at the wash basin, impossible to do makeup. Zero privacy in the wc and shower since there are no actual doors there, just some short saloon style doors hanging in the middle, letting out the water from the shower and odors from the toilet. No hangers for the towels. No bathrobes provided which is strange for the hotel who’s main entertainment facility is the outdoor pool. At the outdoor pool there are very few deck chairs and no umbrellas at all. The communication was poor, mostly over wechat, since the staff speaks basically no English. We have asked twice, in advance, about the vegetarian option for breakfast and still they brought us meat in the breakfast set (only Chinese style food is available). Altogether the experience was rather disappointing. Glad to have booked just one night there. As for the surroundings, there is no access to the bamboo forest behind the hotel or across the road. And beware of the aggressive unleashed dogs in the village across the road if you decide to go for a stroll near the hotel.

わあ！この場所はctripで予約して本当に良かったです。この場所の装飾はとても美しくモダンで、とても静かなエリアにあり、周りは小川と竹林に囲まれていて、とても穏やかで素敵です。スタッフはとてもフレンドリーで、気配りがあり、プロフェッショナルで、まるで家にいるような気分にさせてくれました。そして、食べ物は素晴らしかったです。料理は中華料理でしたが、普通の中華料理ではありませんでした。地元のスタイルですが、とてもナチュラルで、すべてがとても新鮮で、自分の農場で採れた食材を使っているかのようでした。大都市からの逃避先を探している人には、この場所を強くお勧めします。莫干山に期待するものはすべてここにありますが、部屋が自分の家よりも良かったのでさらに良いです（笑）。インターネットは完璧に機能し、シャワーとテレビもすべて完璧です。私たちは徳清から電車で来ましたが、迎えのドライバーの手配を手伝ってくれました。この場所を強くお勧めします！

ホームステイはモーガンマウンテンシーニックエリアの近くにあります。環境は比較的静かです。私は4月に住んでいて、プールに水がないので、図書館の経験は悪くありません。上司は部屋のレイアウトをより実用的で、細部を少し改善することをお勧めします。たとえば、畳の怠惰なクッションは窓際のスペースの3分の2を占めていますが、クッションは灰を落とすのが簡単で、実用的ではなく、家の中で最高の位置を占めています。カーテンのリモコンスイッチは無効で、カーテンはかろうじて引っ張られていましたが、翌日、最初の朝の光が斜めに射込まれて目が覚めました。便座クッションにはテープで貼られた粘着性の汚れがいくつかあり、十分にきれいではありません。しかし、一般的に、上司はまだ非常に熱心で、忙しい前後に助けを提供し、朝食は悪くありません。実際、朝食用の小さなバーはまだとても雰囲気があります。夜の食事は比較的シンプルです。それがうまく機能することができれば、それはかなり良いはずです。最後に、上司の繁栄とホームステイの運営がますます良くなっていることを願っています。

The hotel was nice and big, we came here to celbrate our wedding anniversary number 5, which is wood, so this hotel matched perfectly with that. However, when they took us to our room the first thing we noticed was that right at the entrance it was very muddy and dirty, ok we understood that it was raining and it may be out of their hands, but when we went inside the room, the situation was the same. We have a toddler of 17 months who is always crawling and walking on the floor and we noticed that even inside the room, the floor was desgusting, dust, hairs, bugs. The hotel didn´t do a good job of cleaning before our arrival. They had a broom inside the room and because this is in the middle of trees and nature I can understand that the floor can get dusty, but really... They couldn't give us a clean room as new guests? That was very dissapointing. The shower lightning didn't work. Everything else was fine, breakfast is repetitive.

We recently stayed at Moganshan Mountain Villa for one night and had a very enjoyable experience overall. The hotel is located in a beautiful setting, surrounded by stunning scenery that really allows you to appreciate the natural beauty of Moganshan. The interior of the hotel is also very pleasant, with comfortable and well-maintained facilities that make for a relaxing stay. The staff were helpful throughout our visit and were always willing to assist when needed. At times, however, some staff members came across as a little blunt. A warmer, friendlier approach and a few more smiles would help create an even more welcoming atmosphere for guests. There are also a couple of areas where the hotel could be improved. An outdoor table tennis table would be a great addition and would provide another enjoyable activity for guests. Additionally, my girlfriend got a splinter in her foot around the pool area, so it may be worth checking the surfaces there to ensure they are safe and well maintained. Despite these minor points, we had a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel. The location is fantastic, the surroundings are beautiful, and we would definitely stay here again in the future.

Moshangyin hotel is a wonderful place for a relaxing getaway in Moganshan. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, perfect for resting, slowing down, and enjoying nature away from busy city life. The interior design is beautifully done, creating a warm and comfortable environment from the moment you arrive. The room was excellent, very cozy and well-maintained, with a beautiful mountain view that makes the whole experience even more special. One of the highlights is the tea room, which is thoughtfully designed for tea preparation and relaxation. The decoration combines traditional and modern elements in a very tasteful way, with beautiful details, instruments, and carefully selected design pieces. The entire space feels artistic and calming. The property is surrounded by abundant greenery and plants everywhere, especially outdoors, which makes the environment feel fresh and natural. Sitting there and looking out toward the bamboo forests is incredibly peaceful and contemplative. Whether the weather is sunny or cloudy, the atmosphere remains equally pleasant and charming. Another lovely detail is the nearby stream—you can hear the gentle sound of flowing water, which adds even more tranquility to the stay. The staff are very kind, welcoming, and attentive, making guests feel comfortable, almost as if they are in their own natural home environment. The guests staying there are also respectful and pleasant, contributing to the calm atmosphere. Transportation is also very convenient, with taxis arriving quickly and reliably. There is a nearby village called Yucun that is lovely to visit, and many scenic areas around the hotel are easily accessible as well. Overall, this is an ideal place for anyone looking for peace, beautiful design, nature, and a truly relaxing experience in Moganshan.
