ジョージア州のホテルは家族連れには優しくありません。部屋とベッドは基本的に 20 台のダブルベッドで、0.8 メートル四方です。私が市内で一番高いビルトモア ホテルを選んだ理由は、主に部屋がとても広くて比較的新しく、ベッドの高さが 1.2 メートルで、事前にエキストラ ベッドを追加してくれたからです。川に面した市街の 360 度の眺め。山の反対側にはテレビ塔と観覧車があり、反対側にはトビリシの旧市街、さまざまな修道院、トリニティ教会、マザーフォートレス、マザーオブトビリシが見えます。ジョージアの彫刻、平和橋、自由広場、国立博物館などはすべて肉眼で見ることができ、徒歩圏内にあります。毎日の最も満足のいく食事は、さまざまな揚げハムとペストリーが私の冷えた胃を癒してくれた朝食ビュッフェです。

ホテル自体とその設備は素晴らしかったです。屋内プールと屋外プールはとても綺麗で、ロビーも清潔でスタイリッシュでした。プールサイドと1階にあるバーも素敵で、カクテルは少し高めでしたが最高でした。 しかし、サービスには疑問が残りました。まず、1階のレストランは、料理が出てくるまで1時間も待たされました（！）。仕方なく近くのホテル（ゴールデンチューリップの屋上レストラン）までランチを食べに行きました。次に、スタッフがミニキット（石鹸、ローション、カミソリ、コットン、シャワーキャップなど）を部屋に置き忘れていました。さらに、午前9時半にプールに行ったのですが、6人分のプールタオルが足りませんでした。そして最後に、夜のルームサービスは信じられないほど遅かったです。15分間も電話に出ず、フロントとゲストサービスに電話をかけなければなりませんでした。注文を済ませてから、料理が出てくるまでさらに45～50分もかかりました（しかも、お茶とチーズパイだけの簡単なものでした）。全体的に見て、ホテル自体は悪くないのですが、サービスは改善の余地があります。マリオット系列のホテル（マリオット・ボンヴォイ加盟ホテル）にいくつか宿泊したことがありますが、このホテルはシェラトンのような外観ですが、雰囲気はシェラトンとは少し違います。

価格とパフォーマンスのバランスが良いホテルです。ただ、バスルームのアメニティはほとんどありませんでした。それでも、他の良いホテルと価格を比較すれば、良い選択肢と言えるでしょう。

Overall, my impression of the stay was mixed. The hotel appears insufficiently thought out in terms of comfort, although there are some positive aspects. There are no shelves in the shower for basic toiletries, and the bathroom lacks drawers and shelves for storing personal items. There is also no makeup mirror. The beds are movable, the safe is not fixed to the wall, and there is no soft headboard. The hair dryer is weak, and the desk is very small. There is no smart lighting system or automatic air-conditioning mode. The bathroom floor is cold, and the mirror is positioned opposite the bed, which I personally found uncomfortable. My request for drinking water was fulfilled only after 45 minutes. There are no service labels on the in-room telephone. It is unclear how a hotel with a five-star rating can operate without a gym. The advertised SPA, in reality, is a jacuzzi for 6–8 people with unusual lighting. The staff generally appeared unfriendly, especially in the restaurant. Beverages are not offered during breakfast; guests must approach the bar themselves to order coffee. Cocoa is available for an additional fee of 15 GEL. Breakfasts are generally good; however, the chef uses onions quite extensively, including in salads and other dishes, which may not suit all guests. On the positive side, I received a room upgrade due to the unavailability of the booked room category, as well as a pleasant birthday greeting from the hotel. The hotel may be suitable for short stays without high expectations; however, improvements in service and room facilities would significantly enhance the level of comfort.

Great hotel and helpful staff. I had spent 30 minutes at reception before coming to my room, sorting out the next day’s trip, with the staff who was especially helpful. After that, I came upstairs, changed clothes, and was finally ready to rest. Shortly after, I was asked to come back down just to pay for and collect my laundry (express service to which I had to call and followup for). I was extremely tired and not feeling well, so I asked 3–4 times if they could make an exception and bring it upstairs. They refused, saying it’s hotel policy that all payments must be made at reception, a ridiculous policy for a hotel of this standard. Ironically, the same night we ordered food to the room, and they brought a card machine upstairs and took payment on the spot. I had actually planned to rebook this hotel but I decided against it solely because of this inconvenient and inconsistent policy.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the biggest issue was the swimming pool. When we booked the hotel, access to the pool was included, but unfortunately it was not usable. Either there was no water in the pool, or when there was, the water was extremely cold. This was very disappointing.

The best thing about this hotel is its location! Everything is around for the corner for the first time tourist. In the same time very quiet spot as it is off the main streets. The triple room was very small for three people. The showroom even smaller than reasonable. The room had shabby walls and worn carpet. The is a string Need to update and refresh rooms for the price and star rating. Breakfast was VERY basic and limited for 4*. Don’t expect much at all , if breakfast is imported from your pint of view. The hotel is made up from two houses linked together. One has a lift, but other - does not! We are talking 4 floors with no lift. Be mindful When you book a room. May be worth to send a special request to allocate a room the the “lifted” part if you have mobility issues.
