The Grand Burstin hotel is located very near every ware I wanted to go to. The Staff are very nice and friendly plus helpful. The amenities are on going day and night l love a cabaret At the end of the day

This was genuinely a wonderful and most special place. The Rocksalt Rooms are in a separate building to the Restaurant - but you check in at the latter and walk you over. Note all the streets here are cobbled, which can be slippery when wet. They are a real BoltHole as they are described, and there are only four total. 2 on 1st floor, 2 on 2nd floor, with one per floor harbour facing. I'd definitely suggest that the upgrade is worth it. The rooms are compact but exceptionally well presented. I've odd little niggles, theres no bedside of any kind - floating shelf would work, where do you put your mobile? And the metal bed frame is ornate and was loose on the footboard. The biggest challenge is where to put things. There are a few hangers on the back of the door and a small set of hooks, but not a drawer or proper place at all. I get space is a real premium here - bedside with 2 drawers all you need! The wet room is compact as everyone says. You won't keep the floor area outside the shower dry, it's not possible. The sink is a corner one with no space to place things but there is shelf in the bathroom for all your luxuries. The body wash / conditioner / hand soap / hand moisturiser are great quality. Noise - it's by the Harbour so they start early, but for us it was part of the charm of the location, the fresh fish smell was totally incredible. Breakfast is not to be missed, across in the restaurant with the best view, it's harbour side. Loved the granola, yoghurt, compote starter. I had English Breakfast as I was hungry, it was great quality but disappoining - it was more style over substance. The bacon is cooked to crispy, not my style at all but great quality. He had the Salmon & Eggs and it won hands down. Local, fresh, decent portion, on wonderful Sourdough. Luckily I was saved a bite. A point or two more - the bedside light fused the circuit and the room was plunged into darkness. Looked for fuse box, could not find. Ended up in Restsurant. They had to get keys to a location they used to own but don't now (ground floor of the Rooms building). This took a while as the keys had to be obtained. I get how this used to work, but not now - the fuse box needs moving. The if we cant fix option was check out and refund - erm no!! There is the most incredible Team member behind the Bar/ Restaurant from Bulgaria whose name I have really tsckily forgotten. For which I apologise. She is truly wonderful and made the visit for me, id return solely to see her again!!! Overall we loved Rocksalt Rooms and would return, to have dinner in the restaurant too! I really had a pleasant stay. Everything about the hotel was relaxing and although I didn’t sleep well (due to being in a different bed to my own) there was nothing I could complain about. Staff were great, breakfast was ok (selection of cooked breakfast, pastries, toast,cereals & fruit) and you’re greeted with that famous cookie! :)

The room was bigger than expected and had a patio to sit out on, the bed was comfy and everything is situated a short walk from the mews rooms. I did notice the bathroom was a bit dirty and the hot water for the shower went completely this morning. The maintenance man had to come out and fix the boiler to rectify the issue. The location is absolutely stunning and the gardens are well kept. It is really a beautiful part of the UK and the main manor building is lovely. The gardenia restaurant is closed a few days of the week for dinner and also breakfast which I didn’t think was ideal. So we had to go outside to eat dinner as the spa restaurant wasn’t really what I was looking for, for a nice evening meal. For breakfast we had to go to the sage spa restaurant which had a very limited selection of food. There were about 6 dishes to choose from, they said The chef doesn’t cook scrambled egg which is a breakfast essential so I basically had to have a plate of toast. As there was nothing that I wanted on the menu and I was told the smoothie machine was broken so I couldn’t even opt for that instead. This happened straight after the hot water had gone so was a bit of a dampener. I came to the hotel a few years ago when you didn’t have to pay for the spa access but now you do which is a bit annoying. Especially as you can only visit during breakfast or dinner hours even with the £20 surcharge. So then you have to either eat very late at night or have a late lunch otherwise the £20 won’t be well spent and you’d have to leave the spa after an hour

The location of the hotel was ideal for me visiting a retailer at Bluewater however it would be difficult without a car. The is a free to use car park with plenty of space for residents however there appears to be an Indian restuarant being built on the site as part of the hotel building which would cause major issues for residents looking to get parked if arriving after dinner service in the evening starts. The reception is largely unmanned and you need to call a mobile number for any issues. In fairness, when I checked in, the chap on reception told me there was an issue with the hot water but would be sorted within an hour. Sure enough it was. The following morning, getting ready for work, there was no hot water, so I called the mobole number and the chap told me he'll get it sorted right away. Sure enough within 30 minutes it was working. I believe the issue was with the pump as once started, there was plenty of hot water. The room was absolutely as seen in the photos. Lovely large spacious room with a skylight Velux style window, so plenty of fresh air. The aircon unit worked a treat for the warm muggy evening and night. There was an abundance of tea, coffee and some bisuits was was a real treat. There was also a couple of bottles of water which was a nice touch. Overall, I would stay here again and hopefully next time, the onsite Indian restuarant will be open.

A standard Premier Inn... room was clean and modern, the rest of the hotel a little tired but for the price and what I expected it was totally fine. An easy stroll into Canterbury, but you do need to walk through an underpass which some people may find problematic esp. late at night, but I am sure it's safe. WiFi is throttled to encourage you to upgrade... not a fan of this.

これはなんて素晴らしい隠された宝石でしょう。道路の向こうにワールホーン教会がある湿地を見下ろす丘の上に位置するこのパブは、ロマンチックな休暇に欠かせない場所です。 私たちは早く到着し、美しく風変わりなバーで飲み物を飲みました。歓迎の丸太の火が燃え、さまざまな飲み物がありました。 私たちは「Niddy」を予約しました。屋根裏部屋にはたくさんの人がいて、快適なベッド、ロールトップバス、そしてたくさんのキャラクターがあります。 私が部屋に持っていた唯一の******は、W.Cが屋根のスペースに絞り込まれていたことで、立ち上がって少しぎこちなかったが、そのような素晴らしい部屋になるとそれは小さなことです。 夕食に静かなテーブルを頼んだところ、サイドエリアに1つ与えられましたが、もう一度信じられませんでした。とてもロマンチックで、部屋全体が私たち自身でした。私たちのウェイターのムリはとても素晴らしく、気配りがありましたが、邪魔にならず、とても面白かったです。外食はあまりなく、彼は本当に夜を作りました。 食べ物は素晴らしく、ビーガンバーガーは私が食べた中で最高のものの一つでした. 散歩、サイクリング、バードウォッチング、地元のサイトを訪れたい場合は、場所は素晴らしかったです(ライ麦は車でわずか20分でした) 残りのスタッフも素晴らしく、私たちのために十分にできませんでした。 必ず戻ります。

朝食付き、クイーンベッドルームを1泊予約しました。 到着が13:00でチェックインより早く着きましたが、部屋の空きがあっまため早めにチェックインさせてもらえました。 スタッフは皆さんフレンドリーで親切で感じが良かったです。 施設も部屋も清潔感がありました。 部屋にはシャンプー、コンディショナー、シャワージェルが備え付けてあります。 タオル3種類あり、ミニバー(コーヒー、紅茶)あり、アイロンとアイロン台あり、ドライヤーあり、洗面具なし、スリッパなし、パジャマなし 朝食はアイリッシュ式の内容で種類多くおなかいっぱいになりました。 また訪れる機会があればリピートしたいです。

Great array of breakfast choices. Clean. Room service great. Restaurant on premises offered delicious dinners at reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Room tidied daily. Fresh linen. Spacious room. Will definitely return. Highly recommend.
