The property is situated on the southeast hills of Saba, directly in the trade winds, and the terraces offer spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea and the islands of St. Eustatius (Statia), St. Kitts and Nevis. Let the sounds of the peeping of tree frogs and the rustle of leaves lull you to sleep each night,Flamboyant Cottage's proximity to Windwardside means that you're within easy walking distance to groceries, shopping, and several enticing restaurants. To get around the island, taxis are just a phone call away, or better yet, don your hiking shoes and take advantage of Saba's spectacular hiking trails. Saba's dive operation offers excellent service, including transportation from the cottage to the dive boats docked at Fort Bay.Flamboyant Cottage has two bedrooms (one queen bed, two twin beds), two bathrooms (each with a shower), a fully equipped kitchen, an outside dining gazebo, and tiled terraces leading to a beautiful private pool. The cottage is designed for one or two couples, and can sleep a maximum of four people.Flamboyant Cottage is our relaxed, quiet, home away from home. If you're looking for a peaceful, restful environment for your vacation, this is the place for you. Days can be spent being as lazy or energetic as you want - you can sit by the pool with a favorite book, spend the day under the Caribbean Sea with one of Saba's local dive shops, or test your physical fitness on Saba's hiking trails. This newly built stone efficiency cottage is a companion to the larger Althea Cottage at the front. It has the amenities of a nice hotel room plus a well stocked kitchenette but in a private location.A full bedroom with ensuite bath is presently being built at the rear so that the Murphy bed can be kept closed and the whole original studio used as a living room. This will also allow space to share the cottage with an additional person or couple. The anticipated completion date is before May 18, 2026. Any future bookings made before it's officially opened will be accepted at the current rate.
