The hotel is in need of updating and refurb. No free wifi. Furniture is old. That said, the check in was friendly and efficient and all the staff I came across were good to deal with. I had a meal in the bar. Food was fine and a decent size. Breakfast gave enough choice from a continental style buffet. The bedroom was away from outside noise. Just a bit of noise as other guests came and went. Tired bathroom but everything worked. For a one night stopover as a solo traveller it was fine.

Really great Hotel. Cheapest around as well so don’t really get when people book cheap hotels and complain that it’s not 5* 😂. Location is amazing. The Loch is beautiful. Staff are really nice. Rooms have everything you need and are quite spacious. Food is really good although a wee bit expensive but still good sized portions.

The hotel was easy to find, located right by the main road. The rooms were quite small, and with luggage, the space felt a bit tight. However, there was a small outdoor balcony with a table and two chairs, which provided a nice spot to sit and eat. The rooms looked modern and recently renovated. The bathroom was well-designed, featuring sleek black tiles and gold fixtures, and the hot water worked perfectly. One of the best features of the room was the separate sink area, along with a microwave and fridge. This was especially convenient for heating up food or enjoying ready-to-eat meals from the nearby Aldi if you’re too tired to head out. The room also came with a kettle, coffee, tea, and even a chocolate wafer as a thoughtful welcome touch. There is no reception desk at this hotel, so it’s important to have internet access as check-in is fully digital. You’ll receive your room number via email just before your arrival. Make sure to complete the online pre-check-in to confirm your stay and receive further instructions. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient one-night stay.

酒店位置很好就在火車站旁，新裝修的，衞生也不錯，有餐吧和咖啡店，價格也挺實惠。房間內沒有空調，冬天有一個暖氣片，夏天衹有電扇。沒有免費wifi，註冊會員可以享受30分鐘wifi

This hotel was the perfect base for traveling The Isle of Skye! Check in was easy, there were lots of parking (some close, some far), coffee and breakfast had some selections, we had dinner at the hotel too and it was great. It says that there might not be warm water at all times, but we had warm water every time we showered with great water pressure! This was an affordable and easy place!

Slightly dated but very clean and well looked after property and grounds. Our room had a very modern toilet and shower room with quality shower gel etc provided along with lovely fluffy towels. Beds were nice and comfy. The staff are fantastic, very polite and helpful. Pets are very welcome . We ate in the bar and the food was excellent with the highlight being the sweet trolley. For the price they ask you would be hard pressed to find better value for money. Highly recommended. Mark & Frances 5/06/26

Overall feedback: We had a comfortable and pleasant stay. The property is spacious enough for a group of 3–4 people, and it was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. We really enjoyed how peaceful and secluded it felt — it truly is a hideaway away from the buzz of the tourist city centre. A small suggestion: It would be helpful to provide clearer directions and notes on how to find the property. The address on Google Maps directed us to a different house, which caused some confusion. In fact, the owner of that house mentioned that they frequently receive visitors who are looking for this Airbnb and have to redirect them to the correct property. Perhaps clearer driving directions, landmarks, or a note in the check-in instructions about the Google Maps issue would make it much easier for future guests to find the property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the peaceful location!
