部屋は木の温もりを感じる、とても落ち着く空間でした。バルコニーからの風雨橋の眺めは最高でしたし、ホテルすぐ横の展望台からは、水面に映る風雨橋の美しい景色を撮影できました。ホテル周辺の景色も素晴らしかったです。 このホテルは観光案内所から約2kmと、中心部からは少し離れていますが、オーナーが車でチェックインのために迎えに来てくださり、大変助かりました。ホテルから観光地全体を徒歩で巡るのも非常に便利で、電気カートに乗る必要もありませんでした。レンタカーや自家用車で旅行する方には特におすすめです。

Get this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave. Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play. The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way. The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned. The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture) If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe. I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China. However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too. These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host! I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

Brand new boutique gem in a prime location! I stumbled upon this absolute gem in Guilin! The hotel is located right along the road and is incredibly convenient—it's just a short walk to East-West Lane, nearby malls, and Zhengyang Pedestrian Street. Since it seems to be a new hotel, everything is squeaky clean and the amenities are modern. The only minor thing I missed was having a table in the room, but the comfort and cleanliness more than made up for it. I still absolutely loved my stay! I won’t say more except: highly recommend!

The owner Mr Gu is the best. He was very hospitable and super helpful. He picked me up on his motorbike. If not for him, I would not have been able to find the hotel  which is in a small alley that is big enough for one motorcycle to pass through. I use Maps.me, Baidu map, Amap and Google Map and none of these would be able to help me.  He carried my luggage on his shoulder inside of roll it so the action of pulling it on these uneven slabs of stones wouldn’t ruin the wheels . On the day of departure he again carried my luggage to the side of the road to wait for my ride. Mr. Gu service was really one of the best on this trip. The location of this hotel is very convenient. It is inside the ancient town and yet because it is inside an alley, it was very quiet. Also it is only less than 5 minutes away from the main road where you can find all kinds of restaurants, pastry shops, pharmacies etc. You can also  eat inside the ancient town as well. The decoration is very appealing. It is pleasing to the eyes . The lighting is brighter enough to read and there are switches bedside where you can turn off the light. The shower is separated from the toilet so that area remained mostly dried ( there was a leak and I could see water coming from the shower stall into the toilet area and it was ok ) The only blemish and weakness , I would say is the room size. I stayed in 永安門. It is the one of the smallest room that I have ever stayed in in China. I understand there is little space inside the ancient town but notwithstanding, the original design could have made 3 rooms into 2 instead of 3 small rooms. The bed is big but there is little space to move around. There is a small desk. It would be quite cramped and even a bit claustrophobic for 2 normal size persons to be in the room. The bathroom has a small window that faces a wall 6 inches away.  The next room to the right opens up to some open space. By the bedside,there is another window but it opens to a hallway and there is window on the hallway. I have my curtain drawn for privacy although I didn’t hear anyone walked past my room being the next to the last room in the curve hallway.  I saw the hotel from the outside and it appears that many rooms face an open field but I was unlucky enough to be given a room that is maybe THE shittiest. If I was shown two different rooms I wouldn’t have picked that one.  I wouldn’t mind paying more to see the sun.  I examined the hotel pictures carefully and there was no way that I knew before I reserved that one window faces a hallway and the other faces a wall.    This hotel is perfectly fine but you have to request a room that has window not facing a hallway and a wall. Some people don’t mind but for me it was paramount.  I supposed if you want more space, you have to pay more or live outside of the ancient town. There are many but there is trade off , of course.  Mr. Gu has a Corgi , a very cute dog with short legs but an enormous rotund body. He was very friendly and allowed me to pat him. 

I stayed at this hostel and had a truly wonderful experience. The accommodation is located on the 24th floor of a skyscraper in a very convenient and well-connected area. The apartment is extremely clean and well maintained, with the added bonus of a free-to-use washing machine, which is very helpful while traveling. Xiu Xiu, the girl who manages the place, is incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming, always ready to assist with anything needed. She was so lovely that we even went out for lunch together, and I really enjoyed chatting with her. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I would definitely recommend staying here.

Chuxin Homestay felt more like staying with thoughtful hosts than at a typical Yangshuo lodging. The room was quiet, spacious, and well kept, and the bed was comfortable enough to rest well after long days out. Getting around was easy with scooter rentals close by and simple food options nearby. What really made the stay smooth was the owner’s guidance — she helped map out our days realistically, steered us toward fairly priced experiences, and discouraged activities that weren’t worth the money. We arrived late on our first night and were still warmly welcomed, which immediately set the tone for the stay. Communication was always clear and timely, and the place felt safe and well managed. A small but memorable detail was Fa Cai, the calm and friendly house dog. If you prefer an honest stay without tourist traps, this homestay is a solid choice.

The view from the ”Premium Double Room” is fake - the hotel admitted to adding the karst mountains during ”post-production”. Do not book the room if you want dual aspect views onto the famous karst mountains (one side of the room faces some mountains (good view), but the other side faces some buildings). When we raised their falsification on the advertisement with the reception they admitted to faking the views, and we were able to negotiate electric bike rental as compensation. However, overall the hotel is good. 20 minute walk into city centre, clean, friendly staff, and a decent view (even if not as advertised) from some rooms. Good for the price! I wouldn't normally comment on this, but given the other issues we faced it seems that this hotel manager is as opportunistic as possible to exploit and sort change guests. When we arrived, we were given a downgraded room (i.e. facing a concrete wall). When we raised it was the downgraded one we asked for the room we had booked (double aspect windows with the view of the mountains). She was able to give us that room, but as I already explained the photograph of the room advertised contains fake imagery to deceive guests. I hope they change this in the future so that other guests are not deceived like us. Regarding the compensation for staying in the hotel despite the false advertising, we had negotiated free electric bike rental for one and a half days, and a ¥20 discount to be collected at the end. (They only accepted after I threatened to write an honest review and complain to Trip.com). Unfortunately, on the last day they didn't let us use the e-bike because it was drizzling (only in the morning, it was a bright sunny day for the rest of the day), and then they refused to refund the ¥20 as agreed on the basis that we'd used the e-bikes for half a day (the previous afternoon). (I have written evidence (via my translation app history) of all of this should the hotel respond and say that I'm not telling the truth). I am sharing a REAL photo of the room so future guests are aware of the view. I recommend that the hotel improves the honesty of their advertising.

Nice and clean room, we enjoyed our stay there! It was very easy to store our bicycles in the lobby, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They don't speak English but will do their best to help you anyway.

Very nice and quiet accommodation with a great view of the surrounding mountains from the terrace. From the accommodation, you can hike up Damian Mountain (approx. 1 hour), from where you have a great view of the breathtaking landscape. The accommodation provides information and a flashlight (for climbing at sunrise). The viewpoint on Xianggong Mountain can also be reached on foot in about 1 hour. The breakfast was very tasty and the host extremely friendly. I was picked up from the ferry by car and brought back again.
