We booked a small hotel room knowing it was just for our last night of the holiday. Struggling up the steps of the hotel with heavy luggage, the guy on reception (manager/owner?) rushed out an helped me with my case. He said because we were booked in to a small room that was at the top of the hotel, where the lift wouldn't reach, he would upgrade us to a better room. He said my luggage was too heavy to lug up the stairs. The room was an average size and the bathroom was small, but the other room would definitely have been tiny. Had no fault with cleanliness, and the staff were all really nice. No aircon, but they had provided a fan.

Late arrival (11:30pm) after a day of cancelled trains, so the electrics in the room not working and having to go back to reception and getting moved wasn’t the greatest start. Dated bathroom. I doubt I’ve ever stayed in a GBP 100+ room which has a shower curtain. Absolutely sensational breakfast, full of interesting local options as well as everything you would expect from a traditional buffet. Ambiguous check out info: 11am on booking yet midday on in-room TV. Given the late arrival, being given late checkout (apparently a perk of RH membership) was fabulous and enabled us to spend a full day exploring before a quick shower (with that appalling shower curtain) before heading to the station, just 10-minute walk Definitely recommended

I would have rated lower if I could. Arriving with children only to find out at bedtime that tap water in bathroom is grumpy and yellow. Complaining the following morning and told that we shouldn’t have been checked into this room but they could move us - so what about the bad and unacceptable basic conditions the first night? No we can’t give any refund - second night doesn’t really help us with early morning checkout. This is absolutely horrible and for someone born and raised in Aalborg an embarrassment

First time in Aalborg and Scandic gave me a good experience. If I have to go back, I will choose again this hotel. Is sustainable, clean and also the people from the hotel were great.

Fabulous find in the centre Lovely comfortable rooms, the beds are soooo comfy 💤 A continental breakfast was tasty, not loads on offer but a good start to your day Yes the hotel is on the party street but we were at the back of the hotel & we didn’t hear any noise

絶対に素敵な清潔でフレンドリーなホテル。部屋には滞在に必要なものがすべて揃っていて、とても清潔で快適でした。町に適した場所。朝食はとても良かった。それはすべてのラウンドでお金に見合う価値があり、私はお勧めしますし、私が戻ってきたときに再びここに滞在します。

We spent one high at Milling Hotel, travelling to Germany with our Pug dog. We were well received upon arrival, parking was convenient and affordable at 90 Dkr, and however, the parking charge was not expected or advertised when booking. The room was very clean and comfortable, small yet workable. The breakfast was offered at an additional charge, the cost was reasonable and the breakfast provided had a great selection of hot and cold options. Good location within the town of Aalborg, with great places to walk your dog or do some shopping. The hotel staff were very friendlt and helpful, we had an excellent stay at Milling.
