This is a narrow review for the La Quinta Inn & Suites, Ripon, California property itself... The people at that property are WONDERFUL... The people at Wyndham Rewards, not so much... Don't want to go there because I'm not altogether sure about libel laws... That said, my wife and I spent four nights and all or part of five days at the Ripon property... Could not have been nicer... While the property itself has things (e.g. great mattresses) about it, the thing that stands out above all else is the staff... From General Manager on down, every single person we engaged during those five days treated us as if we were the only guests they had seen in months... Friendly, helpful, outgoing, eager to engage... I am now 83 years old and walk with a cane... Every door we approached... Every thing that was needed for my comfort, they jumped to make it happen... The quality of the staff was so outstanding, that I have no doubt that there is a General Manager and perhaps a training manager who carefully and fully trained each and every member of that staff that the guests are not ”an intrusion on their important work,” but the very reason they have important work... WE WILL BE BACK!!!
Next to highway exit and has several restaurants around. A gas station across the hotel. Breakfast was O.K. The room was spacious and clean. Parking lot has plenty of spaces. There was a sauna and steam room but I did not have time to try them.
