For me this was excellent value for money to stay on a match day. The room was huge and I do like the old traditional look of the rooms with a huge bathroom along with substantial tea and coffee facilities. It is right in the city centre and although I couldn't check in early they were able to store my luggage securely while I wanderd around the great city

This hotel is amazing. Very clean. Very warm. Breakfast was amazing. The staff in the hotel and especially in Masons the restaurant were amazing. Couldn't do enough for you. Definitely be back to this hotel next time we are in Liverpool. About 10 minute walk from Lime street station. Central to all shopping areas.

Clean room with complimentary coffee and tea. Location is great just few minutes walk to centre, different restaurants and pubs outside. Great location. Breakfast not that bad. But just few selection from english breakfast, cereals and muffins. Juices and coffee. They are generous on shampoo, conditioner and body lotion just bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste as they don’t provide. comfy bed but it’s not soundproof. Im sleeping and suddenly i heard in other room they are making out. And the woman moan so loud that my sleep disturbed for a few minutes. My advice is go out and have lots of walks so when you got back to hotel you’re knackered and sleep well so you won’t hear any noise LOL. 😂 friendly and accomodating staff.

Very nice hotel. Good food. Brilliant tribute acts. Can't wait to go back at the end of March .

Firstly I would like to say that the staff were all wonderful. Friendly, helpful and efficient. Sadly, not much else was. We were greeted and shown facilities then changed into swimwear ready for our spa day treat. It started with a facial, which was fantastic and the highlight of the day. In the thermal unit, all beds were taken so we decided to have a sauna and steam room. No where to hang robes/ towels, so we had to put them on the wet floor in a corner. More hooks needed in all areas as very difficult to find. We then decided to try the pool area. On arrival the jacuzzi was working for about 3 mins but full, so we found a bed , then headed for the pool. Sadly it was too cold to swim and not what we expected of a spa. Surrounding areas dirty and slippery. The sauna was working but full most of the time, we did manage to get in for a short time which was quite relaxing but we were aware others were waiting to go in. The other two rooms were not working ( steam room and ? …not sure what the other room should have been). When we were able to get in the jacuzzi it was warm but no longer working. Also lots of tiles from the sides, base and seats were loose or dotted around the perimeter. Back upstairs we tried the thermal unit yet again, but full! Deciding now would be a good time to relax with a brew, we were shocked at the price of coffee. Afternoon tea was served in the hotel, across the car park in the hotel. Reasonably good if you like finger sandwiches made with thick bread. The sweets were ok but nothing too special. Tea served in thick white cups ( not china) and not offered more than one small pot e each. Sadly we will not be returning. We should have guessed as the price was much less than other spa deals. In future we will pay the extra and enjoy a spa with full facilities that are all in working order and clean.

An overnight stay visiting family nearby. Easy check in with friendly staff the room was spotlessly clean and a good size. We had to fix the bedside lamps as they weren't plugged in behind the headboard and the bulbs were loose in the fittings (very dodgy switch plug) but apart from that the room facilities were excellent. We were told the bar would be open until 10.30 but when we returned at 9pm the staff told us that they had already called last orders as it was a quiet Sunday night. They kindly served us a drink as we were residents and we were the last to leave as the staff were finishing off cleaning and tidying up. Which made it very strange that loud bass music could be heard in our room until 12.30! Perhaps it was one of the neighbouring rooms having a party? Despite that, would happily stay again.

We've just returned from a weekend at Lord street hotel. We parked behind the hotel with the discount code given by the hotel. We arrived at the front desk and had to wait for someone to come to the desk to check us in. The lady was very friendly and helpful. We went up to our room which was a beautiful modern room (we booked the deluxe king room) but did feel like we were on display with the full length windows with a view of the main road so we did keep the curtains shut all weekend. My husband opened one of the windows for some fresh air but being big heavy sash windows it took two of us to close it! The room was lovely but a few things did let it down the kettle and iron where grubby and the bathroom door lock was missing, booking a 'deluxe' room id expect better to be honest. The bed and pillows are super comfy, we had a great night sleep. I thought we would have been kept awake from the outside noise but we didn't hear anything. In the morning I had a shower and the pressure isn't great but otherwise it was fine. We were disappointed to have to go across the road to another hotel for breakfast. Had I wanted to go somewhere else for breakfast I wouldn't have booked it at the hotel. Breakfast was a buffet with full English, pastries, cereal,fruit and yogurt on offer. The full English was very greasy which I wasn't a fan of but my husband loved it but I did love the little town dairy yogurts (made in my home town!) The coffee was nice and there was fruit juice and water on offer too however I did have to ask for a glass as there was non to be seen. After breakfast we headed back to the hotel at 1030am to finish packing and check out at 11 however when we got out of the lift and tried to get through the security door to our room our key card had been stopped so we had to get the maid to let us in and let us in our room. I thought this is very bad for such a well established business. If check out is 11 surely the key card should work until that time! This also happened to our friends who were also staying here. The hotel is lovely just the minor details that stop it from being excellent. The location is fantastic.

From stepping through the doors for our first ever overnight stay to leaving this morning we could not fault the hotel itself plus the staff were absolutely amazing very friendly polite and such a happy atmosphere in the hotel we would 100% recommend a stay here. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant and it was so tasty very filling then onto the bar for a couple of drinks again bar staff very polite and friendly. This morning we had a full English breakfast which was so tasty and the breakfast choices were many and all fresh again restaurant staff very helpful. Also I would like to mention the security gentleman who was very nice and friendly all in all we had a very enjoyable overnight stay and we will definitely be returning in the not to distant future
