Great service and perfect venue for wedding, guests and their families! Food was great and the general vibe was very nice. Get the preferred ( look for Jorge.. he is the keys to happiness) if possible and room service with the family was very nice. Nice gym and very close walk to the water taxi to Isla which I highly recommend.

The rooftop was amazing! The staff was so friendly. The resort was pretty, but small. Definitely catered towards people with children. There were A LOT of kids there. The beach was okay, small, clean, and the hammocks were great. Plenty of lounge chairs everywhere. We didn’t have trouble getting one for our group of 4 everyday. The pools were great. The Preferred Club was amazing. Worth the extra money. The rooftop pool was adults/preferred club only, has private breakfast in the morning, and the premium alcohol is great. The views from the top floor are breathtaking. The preferred lounge is another great perk with a wonderful bar, super helpful staff, and a great little buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The gym is one of the best I’ve seen at a resort. Great selection and several pieces of equipment. The regular buffet was small, but the selection was decent. We ran into a lot of the food being cold, but the flavor and presentation was still good. The coffee shop was also great. The beach grill downstairs was good. The taco bar was so good! Good service, great selection, and good treats. The restaurants on the resort were also good. We did have to wait for an hour most nights to get in, but we would get a drink once we put our reservation in and the wait wasn’t too bad. The way that the resort is built makes some of the areas VERY windy. The gourmet court by the pool/youth pool area was a wind tunnel. Hold on to your plate! Haha The rooms were great! Showers were wonderful, the balcony was great with a huge door you can slide open, the staff kept our room stocked with refreshments, daily snacks, and Nespresso coffee. Yum! The following staff were great: Brian & Kendor on the roof were FANTASTIC. They were so kind, fun, and so helpful. Mario in the rooftop restaurant was great every morning. We also LOVED Miguel in the preferred bar. He made the best drinks. Summary: Great little resort if you have a family with kids and like a smaller resort with less walking. If you want to go for the beach, I’d skip this one. If you only want to be in the pool, it’ll be great for you. Preferred Club is worth the extra money (GET THE PREFERRED CLUB), staff is wonderful, the views are beautiful, food was decent (not the best, not the worst), and it’s close to the airport.

Amazing balcony. Watched every sunrise from there. Wonderful food! So many options to chose from. Brian and Dania at the roof top pool were amazing! Remembered our drinks and always happy to help out with any request. View from upstairs restaurants is fantastic.

Amazing food at every restaurant! Very kind and attentive staff. The beach was clean and I enjoyed the hammocks in the water. Due to the layout of the resort the pool area feels small, but there was plenty of open seating when we went in January. Every room has an ocean view that was beautiful. I also loved the roof top pool option! As someone who is 6 months pregnant, I liked that the resort is pretty compact and walking from the room to the beach, pool or restaurants didn't feel too exhausting.

Dreams Vista Cancun has some standout positives but also areas for improvement. Positives: Golf Convenience: If you're a golfer, this resort is ideal. They offer a seamless service, picking you up just off the beach and getting you to the clubhouse in a quick 10-minute cart ride. World-Class Service: Maneses at the World Café provided exceptional service, remembering our drink orders from Monday morning and bringing them without us needing to ask—a truly thoughtful touch. Exceptional Dining Staff: At Portofino, Jose managed several large tables while ensuring our orders were prioritized. His professionalism stood out. Rooftop Pool Team: Kendra and Brian on the rooftop wait staff, along with Jessica, the pool concierge, went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Negatives: Bluewater Grill: While seated immediately, it took 1.5 hours to complete our meal. The delay detracted from the experience. Dining Wait Times: Himitsu’s hostess initially told us to return in 50 minutes but then added another 15-minute wait when we did, leading us to resort to room service. Across the resort, most restaurants had 45-60 minute wait times. Room Service: Delivery times exceeded an hour, which was disappointing. Night Entertainment: The entertainment was very child-focused and lacked appeal for adults. It felt cheesy and not up to the standard expected. Pools in January: The pools were uncomfortably cold, compounded by constant wind, which made relaxing poolside challenging. Beach and Water Quality: The beach is small, and the water lacks the vibrant turquoise hues seen in other parts of Cancun’s coastline. Overall, Dreams Vista offers great service and amenities for golfers and attentive staff in certain areas, but dining delays, cold pools, and limited adult entertainment diminished the overall experience. Depending on your priorities, this resort may or may not be the right fit.

We went over New Years and our stay was just as amazing as the past two years we’ve been to this resort! We had Francisco in the buffet for breakfast and lunch almost every day and he was so great with our family! He also has big muscles!!! He will get that!! Our boys did the surfing and they loved it. They had amazing instructors! Everyone is very friendly, the resort is so safe, our kids could wander to and from the pool to the water park. Lots of kids over the holidays they met lots of great new friends! Oscar at the Barracuda bar was fantastic with our kids! They could just walk up and he would know them by name and make our boys the best drinks! This is now our third year in a row here and we will be back again next year! This resort is smaller so it is perfect for a family! The food at this resort is fantastic! Lots of different choices! Cirilo was also a wonderful person! He came to talk to us on our last day to wish us safe travels! Benjamin who works on the pool deck is always so friendly and willing to help with anything you need!!
