「We spent two nights at this Club Med hotel with our two children. Having had a fantastic experience at another Club Med previously, we were looking forward to this stay—but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations.
The hotel feels outdated and neglected. Our bathroom was worn down, and many facilities were either closed, broken, or simply abandoned. The indoor pool was shut, the outdoor pool looked like a ruin, and several machines in the fitness room didn’t work. Even in the indoor water park some hot baths and the sauna didn’t work.
Food was average at best—both breakfast and dinner buffet lacked variety and quality. Service was underwhelming too: despite few guests, I had to fetch the high chair and children’s cutlery myself every time.
One activity offered was a trolley ride from the hotel to a nearby vineyard. My wife was looking forward to a proper wine tasting or a guided tour of the estate. Instead, a woman briefly showed us two shelves of wine available for purchase—no tasting, no tour. It was disappointing, especially given how impressive and vast the vineyard itself was.
On the plus side, check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. But overall, this stay was disappointing and far from the Club Med standard we had come to appreciate.」
