Got this room for 2 and it’s not bad considering the price! A little far from the places we wanted to visit but it was a comfortable stay :) Check in time was a little late so we had to keep our baggage in the storage room however all is well. We got the breakfast included & it wasn’t bad! Had a full breakfast but the coffee wasn’t hot by the time i had my breakfast (was kept in a thermos). Visited end 18th April & Im concerned abt the amount of mosquitoes that were in the room within 2 night me and my friend killed a total of 5 mosquitoes and it really affected my friend because she got bitten on her eyelid which made it swollen and we were worried she wouldn’t be able to take pictures. Toilet wasn’t the most prettiest or pleasant but toiletries were provided as well as hairdryer! There was also a kettle and coffee that we could make.

I would have liked to rate the hotel as 4.5* however our room was at the front of the hotel and even with the windows shut it was very noisy from the large road junction outside, plus there was noise from other residents and tvs in other rooms, maybe some soundproofing needs to be carried out. That having been said the location was excellent, an easily walkable distance to main attractions, plus a metro stop is directly outside the hotel. The area felt safe at night and there some very good restaurants to try which are only minutes away. Should you wish to go shopping then there are plenty of non-designer shops to choose from nearby including a very good department store called COIN. Our room was a good size and had a lovely bathroom. The bed was large and extremely comfortable, the linen was super soft. Cleaning through the hotel was of a high standard. Breakfast was excellent, everything you might want and the most delicious scrambled eggs I have ever had in a hotel. There were salads, pastries, cakes, fresh fruit, yoghurts, different cured meats and cheeses, sausages and bacon and vegetarian options. Top marks for the hard working breakfast staff. A great start to the day. Staff generally were friendly and helpful. At reception were snacks and drinks to welcome you which was a nice gesture. The hotel also has a small restaurant, ideal for lunches or if you are too exhausted to leave the hotel at night. We had pizzas and salads there a couple of times for lunch and they were very good. The reception area is good with couches, they will look after your baggage if you have a late flight. A very enjoyable stay.
Sono certa che ognuno di noi abbia la propria scala di fattori per valutare se un posto e' bello o brutto ma che siano le persone il valore aggiunto. In questo hotel pulito, carino e molto comodo , vicino alla stazione di Roma Termini sono proprio le persone che fanno di un piccolo hotel, un punto di riferimento per i nostri viaggi a Roma. Paola della reception e' stata, ed è, la persona che ci ha seguito in fase di prenotazione e che si è fatta in quattro per aiutarci a proiettare le nostre fotografie su una parete, di una saletta allestita solamente per noi, un gruppetto di fotografi arrivati in città per un corso di fotografia di due giorni. Beautiful Hotel - outside and inside! Location not so bad to get to City Centre, and Vatican City (Approximately 5-6 K’s) Staff very friendly (Lounge, restaurant, check in) Cleaning staff.. see below in pictures… We had room 629 for 3 nights and got moved to 601 the last night… see below in pictures… ISSUES 1) 4 nights- room “cleaned(ished)/serviced” once! The one day it was “cleaned”, bed was only made, Same used towels left in bathroom for 3 nights- no clean towels?!?! 2) WIFI - hmmmmm…. Not on 6th floor! Lobby & poolside okay. 3) Pool absolutely beautiful - but went to use pool - “CLOSED” no Lifeguard on duty (to watch adults) 9+ people around pool you can’t use?!?! 4) STAFFING issues, restaurants, bar (lounge) staff absolutely amazing - but could have used at least 1 more person to assist with dinner/supper service. A hotel that size and number of guests and charters buses, they definitely needed help. Dinner service runs from 7PM to 10PM. Got to busy for the “CHEF” and @ 9:30PM - 9-45PM good luck… was not taking any other order cause to busy for the chef? ( where I’m from, if you’re open till 10:00PM, you’re open till 10PM, and the chef and staff to complete all order no matter what, that’s what you’re paid for) Waitress JONA did her best and did an absolutely Amazing! Breakfast… same thing, if you’re not down before 9:45AM… Good Luck, cause cleanup starts at 9:50AM - 9:59AM. Good luck getting anything after 9:45AM! NOW, I/we can live without not having the wifi not working and pool close… it is what it is, and even understanding the serving issues due to lack of staff. BUT the room not being cleaned for 3rd day and the ANT’s having a feast on whatever was dropped on the floor… MERCY! (I have some videos of them working as a team and enjoying their feast and not sure where they were heading to on the 6th floor, maybe the next room?) Well, we kinda got some sorta compensation, “we can move you if ya want.” (Moved to room 601 for a night, at least we had clean towels, and the bed was made up!) Checking out - “YOU OWE XXXX.XX euros”, not “How was your stay, or thanks, come again” LOL! Thats fine with me/us, cause that’s what TRIP ADVISORY is for! Would I/we stay here again or recommend this hotel, probably NOT! Have a great day, and really hope your experience at this hotel was much better than ours, cause 90+% of the staff working were great and trying to be helpful!
ゲゲストWir haben letztes Jahr im Oktober unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel gebucht. 5 Nächte Superior Doppelzimmer. Bei Ankunft im Mai diesen Jahres erhielten wir den Zimmerschlüssel und bekamen ein winziges Doppelzimmer mit alter Ausstattung. Bei Nachfrage ob dies das Superior DZ wäre sagte man mir, nein, es ist ein Standart Zimmer. Das Hotel wäre leider ausgebucht und könnte uns kein Zimmer der gebuchten Kategorie anbieten. Mir wurde als Entschädigung ein Discount von 50 Euro angeboten sowie ein anderes Zimmer ab dem nächsten Tag. Außerdem wurde angeboten das Gepäck in das neue Zimmer zu verbringen. (Gepäck wurde auf meine Nachfrage erst gesucht, aber lassen wir das) Das neue Zimmer war dann sogar ein geräumiges 3 Bett Zimmer. Die vorabendliche Reservierung für den nächsten Tag im Hotelrestaurant hat auch nicht funktioniert. Als wir zu Tisch wollten waren dann alle Tische belegt….. Beim auschecken wurde mir eine Rechnung über 5 Nächte Superior DZ vorgelegt. Nach Reklamation wurde der Discount von 50 € eingeräumt, aber Achtung, finde den Fehler! Standard DZ 170€, Superior DZ 220€, wir hatten eine Nacht Standard Zimmer und von dem berechneten Superior DZ wollte man 50 € abziehen. Ich soll für etwas bezahlen was ich nicht erhalten habe, bekomme dafür was ich nicht wollte zum regulären Preis. Dafür ist mein Ärger ja umsonst! Ich bekam noch den netten Hinweis das ich ja dann das größere 3 Bett Zimmer erhalten hätte (was ich nie gefordert habe) Ich bin ein gutmütiger Mensch und habe Verständnis wenn mal ein Fehler passiert, aber soviel Unvermögen ist mir in noch keinem Hotel unter gekommen und ich bin viel auf Reisen! Kein Hinweis auf ein Zimmer der niedrigeren Kategorie beim einchecken! Keine eigenständige Korrektur entsprechend der erhaltenen Räume beim auschecken!
ゲゲストOn first glance of this Hotel, the reception / the chill out area really speaks for itself. But the hotel is in itself, is very small, and very, very basic. As for.the room we had (obviously cannot speak for all) in my opinion, the hotel should be liable for faulse advertising. The best rooms are shown, but what you actually get is something completely different. The Receptionist of any business is the front of house, so your personality, your warm-welcome (Hotel Ripa) really matters ie the 2 male Receptionist upon our arrival. However, one out of the two, was a lil better than the other. I was not happy with our room. The one out of the two was happy to find us something else, the other, aggressively said ”No” three times. Challenged me. He went on to say, we're fully booked, come back tomorrow. RESTAURANT: From Breakfast to evening meal. Wonderful service, good selection of food. Michele from the evening restaurant, he could not do enough for us. My 14 year old granddaughter is quite fussy and so he advised her what was best for her to eat, brought out accomdiments for her. He gave a service with a smile. Just the way it should be. Would I recommend to a friend. No way. I value mine and my friends relationship.
ゲゲストMaybe it's because they can charge you with 6€ per person city tax? I'm not very happy with this hotel. Thin walls, expect to hear everything from neighbours, the room was directly beside the restaurant, mildew (my wife had problems with allergic reactions), not clean, older than it looks, unrepaired damages / open electrical wires (dangerous?), breakfast is absolutely minimum, coffe machine spends only quarter cup (need to push it 2-3 times), mostly sweets for breakfast, cheapest food / bread, area around is really not nice -> full of trash / plastic / smeels dirty, streets are damaged a lot, nothing interesting except carrefour in this location, the hotel ofers nothing special (no sauna, no swimming, no sport, nothing), the breakfast room has no windows (feels really cold, like a school hotel), to get to rome it takes minimum 40 minutes if you have luck. For us it has taken minimum 1:20 to rome / vatican. Service said the commerce is open 24x7, I went 3km, it was closed, open only until 10:30pm. No sauna, nothing to entertain. Conclusion: I would spend a few hundreds more to get a real 4 stars hotel. This here was 2 stars, but really not more. For me this looks really untrustworthy. This was by far the worst 4 star hotel I've ever been. I really can't understand that high rating. Therefore I think, it's (again) just to get a high city tax. We have payed additonally 36€ for two persons for 3 nights. Anyways, the personal was kind to us. It's not their fault. It seems the management tries to get each cent from the visitors.
ゲゲストAbbiamo alloggiato in questo albergo per due notti. Appena arrivati ci hanno sistemato in una casetta esterna alla struttura principale con circa 5/6 stanze. Abbiamo lasciato le valige velocemente per andare a cena, e solo al nostro ritorno abbiamo iniziato a notare delle cose che via via sono andate a peggiorare. Abbiamo richiesto un ferro da stiro, e ci è stato detto che non sapevano dove fosse e che avrebbero chiesto l'indomani alla signora delle pulizie. In vari hotel a 4 stelle il ferro da stiro è addirittura presente in camera! Rientrati in stanza, abbiamo iniziato a notare dettagli relativi alla pulizia e all'aspetto della stanza. Nella doccia erano presenti capelli, la tavoletta del gabinetto era totalmente ingiallita (costo su Amazon € 15 spedizione inclusa!), l'unica sedia presente in stanza aveva un cuscino bianco con delle macchie nere e la pellicola protettiva totalmente strappata. A parte delle abat jour presenti ai due lati del letto, non esisteva un punto luce sul soffitto. Il telecomando della TV era rattoppato con dello shock nero, e appena preso in mano lo shock si è tutto srotolato. Ma il bello è arrivato quando, richiedendo un quarto cuscino che ci è stato prontamente portato, ho notato che esternamente aveva un mega alone giallo a chiazze. Inorridita ho avuto la malsana e fortunatamente giusta idea di controllare anche gli altri tre cuscini... Due di questi erano pieni di macchie gialle all'interno, anche sui bordi, che fuoriuscivano dal lenzuolo!! Chiamato il ragazzo alla reception l'ho caldamente invitato di portarmi cuscini immacolati, data soprattutto la presenza di mio figlio di 3 anni, altrimenti davvero avremmo dormito senza! Se non avessimo anticipato il pagamento (struttura consigliata come seconda opzione per un matrimonio) ce ne saremmo andati all'istante. Ci servirà da lezione: chi chiede il pagamento anticipato non è un albergatore serio!!! Dopo vari minuti sono stati portati i cuscini, puliti, ma senza nemmeno una scusa e nemmeno una parola! Ulteriore tasto dolente: la colazione ... Una colazione del genere viene offerta forse in un albergo a due stelle! Arredamento della sala imbarazzante, colazione misera, senza opzioni sempre presenti in un 4 stelle come le uova o della frutta fresca, bevande calde da una macchinetta di pessima qualita', due scelte di succo annacquatissimi... Il top è la vaschetta degli affettati... Di plastica, con delle crepe al livello della maniglietta per sollevarla, storta.... Il mio bimbo che adora il prosciutto cotto ne ha mangiato una fetta, mi ha guardato e mi ha detto che non era buono... E aveva ragione! 4 stelle dove? Anche 3 stelle sarebbero regalate! L'unica cosa positiva che ho visto: la cameriera della sala colazione, da sola, che correva da una parte all'altra e lavorava come una matta e senza che le chiedessimo nulla ci ha portato la sedia in più per il bambino mettendoci in un punto con più spazio, dato appunto le dimensioni ridotte della stanza. Prima e ultima volta!
