The room was okay and everything but they wouldnt let us use the AC. I turned it on at night cuz my kids sleep better when its cooler, and they came up the stairs and shut the power off to our room. We needed our phones charged for the next day as we had big plans the next morning and we woke up to them dead. Also, on top of no power and AC or wifi, they yelled at us for leaving 2 shopping bags of garbage. Saying she just rents the rooms, shes not a maid. I was unaware that there was public dumpsters on the streets- I thought they were business owned like in the states where if you put trash in it you get fined. She also got mad that I stripped the beds before we left and I think was saying she had someone coming in an hour and now she will have to make them wait. So the whole experience was of that of staying at someones house when they dont want you there. Also I paid a $10 deposit and they didnt return it.

Location was spot on—5 minutes walk from Toptani Shopping Centre, right by a really fancy kenefa place, next to the big masjid, and surrounded by everything and all types of shops someone might need.
Staff was really nice and helpful; they provided us with recommendations when we asked and even gave us a charger since we didn't have a European plug.
The room was really nice and comfy, with ACs and heating within them—definitely worth £39 and we'll be visiting again!
Hôtel familial très propre et accueillant arrivé tardivement a 3h00 du matin aucun problème pour l'accueil, juste un peu loin du centre ville de Tirana 30 min en voiture, je recommande fortement.
Upon checking in, we were told that our room was in ”another building”, which is 200m away & it did not have a lift to reach a room 3 floors up - a big challenge for us senior travellers with bad legs, possibly weak hearts and big suitcases. We also have to walk back to the ”main building” for our breakfasts!
After some hard negotiation - we stood our ground - they finally relented & gave us the room we signed up for.
Even so, the room itself is below expectation. This is an oldish hotel with the basic amenities, with minimum lighting, no table lights, no reading lights.
Lovely hotel clean room and warm welcome. Easily accessible as the bus from tirana stops right outside. Lovely breakfast only downside was breakfast didn't start until 8am so we were unable to eat before leaving for the airport
My stay at Jata Hotel in Tirana was absolutely exceptional. The service was outstanding – the owners are extremely helpful, kind, and show remarkable personal culture, making you feel at home from the very first moment. The terrace offers a wonderful panoramic view of the city, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or relaxing in the evening.
Breakfast was a real delight – the freshly baked croissants were simply delicious, and the coffee was rich and flavorful. It’s also worth mentioning that the value for money is excellent – for such a high standard of service, comfort, and hospitality, the prices are surprisingly low.
I highly recommend this hotel – it’s a place you’ll definitely want to come back to!

ゲゲストPaying £25 a night, I craftily think and expect next to nothing these days! However, Tirana never fails to give blooming Good value even though basic stuff is broken or missing ! Clean comfortable bed and efficient air con are essential and indeed they were.
The bathroom a bit disappointing with the usual ‘screws missing out of the shower head causing grief to keep the ‘hot’ water falling in one place!
The strangest smell emanating from the shower drain disappearing with water flow!
Clean toilet and supplied quality soap!
No safety rails on precarious stairs to level two, no receptionist in the two days , however informative notes on Wifi (v good) and entry!
Value 8+/10 ☺️
ゲゲストThe room is very neat and cool, the breakfast is commendable, and the location is strategic, but I was shocked when I was told I could not have a guest in my room even after paying for 2 persons when I booked. I was never informed about this and felt embarrassed when the receptionist was telling me this right in front of my guest, and almost turned my plea down, and it took close to 15 minutes before she accepted as she was struggling to understand my English. If adults can't be with visitors in privacy in a hotel, where do you expect them to stay with their visitor after paying two persons price? It was so embarrassing that I had to move elsewhere the next day.
