Fantastic hotel, in a great location with a very helpful and attentive staff and excellent offering. Our room was very modern, spacious, clean and had all the amenities you would need for your stay (coffee machine, kettle, fridge, dishwasher there is an oven as well but we didn't use it). Breakfast - beautifully laid out buffet bar offering warm and cold selection with an excellent choice for any dietary requirements; fresh ingredients, lovely local breads, fruit, pastry, freshly made omelettes - very tasty. Staff - Reception - young, welcoming, attentive, helpful - just great :-) Bar - Mr. Jan - absolute star who makes the best cocktail - if you like espresso martini - go for The Julius cocktail - it's just perfect after all day walking around Prague. Jan was super friendly, professional, no matter how big or small our bar order was. He kept the table always nice, tidy and his attentive service was very appreciated. Breakfast staff - team of buzzy Bees - making your stay wonderful, caring, taking care of the breakfast bar looking tidy and in order Cleaning ladies - kept our room nice, tidy and fresh. All we can say is - we had a fantastic stay and when back in Prague, we will be looking to stay at the Julius again. The hotel is very well placed, not too far from the local attractions and it always welcomes you back after a long day of exploring. Thank you again :-)!
Couldn't fault this superb hotel, staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable when asking about trips, transport etc. Room very comfortable and clean and a fab view of Wenceslas Square especially on the evening. Excellent restaurant Fat Cats to compliment hotel.
ゲゲストI'd looked at a few hotels and some nice-looking apartments in Prague and noticed some reviews talking about late evening noise affecting some locations in the main part of the old town. Greg Apartments is just the other side of the river on an exceptionally quiet, residential road so looked like a better option. The friendly manager of the block was flexible for my early arrival which was a bit changeable due to a minor fault with our aircraft. It's easy to do the bus ride from the airport to here for a mere 40 CZK, either the bus 191 to penultimate stop and then walk 15 minutes or bus 119 and change en-route for bus 20 for a 1-2 minute walk. The public transport website will find even more options. The whole building is rented out for short-term use. I was in a ”small” apartment, number 3 on the ground floor. It turned out to be very spacious with a decent size lounge with open kitchen and a bathroom which included a washer and a dryer - very useful if you're on a long trip. It took me a while to work out how to open the washing machine door - the Beko door latch is just poorly designed and requires some gentle wiggling/pushing. The location is great. I found the main tourist places were all within walking distance. The castle complex is on a hill but it's not too bad if you pace yourself. There's a funicular up the nearby park which is fun to ride and takes you to the ”mini Eiffel” tower (Petrin Lookout Tower or Petrinska Rozhledna). Lots of uncrowded cafes nearby and some small supermarkets. I became a regular at Kofarna Ujezd which has good coffee and some nice sandwiches. The furnishings are minimal but functional. The only minor negatives I could list would be the thin curtains in the bedroom - these could be thicker/darker and larger for blackout, a single thin squishy pillow and a few crumbs in the fridge. I had to be careful with having my lounge window open as it faces an internal courtyard and there were some old guys who regularly smoked at a table nearby. I closed my windows when I wasn't in the apartment for security. I thoroughly recommend the apartment block and will probably return for another stay to explore more of the Czech Republic. I'm surprised now to read that Prague features in some top ten cities around the world for pickpocketing. I travelled to Barcelona on the same trip and knew it was a problem there. Prague felt very safe to me but I probably have a natural caution from living in a big city.
匿匿名ユーザーThe location is right in the center of the city, making it easy to move around. Check-in is done online after which you get an access code to the apartment. However, I didn't receive any communication from the property before the stay, so I had to call them and request a link for the check-in process.
The apartment was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was reliable. There's a coffee machine in the apartment, but no pods are provided—only tea bags which was disappointing considering the price. It was possible to leave luggage with the security staff at the entrance before check-in and after checkout, which was very convenient.
Overall it was a good experience.
Zzehra ataAir conditioning would of been amazing or some sort of fan as the apartment was very warm. The location is fantastic. The apartment was spotless clean. It would of been nice to have some tea or coffee in the room on arrival.
Getting in to the apartment for me was difficult. I wasn’t sent the link to send my details in to the company. They needed to see my passport to give me the code so I could gain access to the apartment. I called the company when I got there for the code. All in all it took about 30 minutes to get in.
