「Wonderful hotel within walking distance to the river and historic neighborhoods. They kept my bag for a few hours while I wandered around downtown after check out. The hotel gave me two vouchers for free drinks/snacks at their attached cafe which was wonderful. They also put free chocolate chip cookies on my door handle!
The only downside for me was that the room had a strong (but not unpleasant) perfume fragrance and sometimes you could hear the traffic at night. But it's worth the location and hey, better than smelling like bleach. I'd stay here again 👌」

「キーは最初は機能しませんでした。キーを再磁化する必要がありました。疲れていると面倒です。たくさんの浮浪者が前に出ています。最も注目すべきは、ゲストがほとんどいなかったことです。午後10時30分頃、誰かがドアを開けようとしていました。上部がロックされていました。私はフロントに電話をしました、そして彼らは他の誰かに部屋を与えようとしたことを謝罪するようになりました。私たちがチェックインしたばかりで、彼らが私の鍵を再拡大しただけで私の部屋番号を知っていたとき、どうしてそれが起こるのでしょうか？それは日陰で受け入れられません。」

Details matter in this beautifully-designed property in the Historic District for an authentic Beaufort experience! Downstairs has multiple Living and Dining spaces-so you can relax both inside or in the private outdoor courtyard. Kitchen has full-size appliances, m/w and a coffee bar to jump start your day. Lowcountry curated accents and original local Art throughout.
Upstairs, the queen bedroom overlooks the private courtyard, and the 2-twin bedroom has incredible morning light. Each bedroom has a large closet, large dresser and custom linens. 1-1/2 baths. Sleeps 4 max. Bikes/5G Wi-Fi / Smart HDTV with Cable/ DVD/ Washer Dryer/Iron/Hairdryers/Towels.

Port Royal Landing is a wonderful little neighborhood filled with wonderful people. You may just come back year after year to see your new friends. A marina, shop and newly renovated restaurant and bar (Fall 2019) are just a few steps away. Bring your boat to Port Royal Landing marina where weekly/monthly slips are available at a very reasonable price and you'll never have to step into your car the whole time you're here. This really is a fisherman's and sailor's paradise. By water, downtown Beaufort and the city dock is only a few minutes north and downtown Port Royal is a few minutes south. Hilton Head is just beyond with Charleston and Savannah all an easy days’ sail.
If you'd rather spend the day lounging on a secluded beach or walking the sand looking for shells and driftwood, Hunting Island Park is just a short drive away. The hiking here is like no other as you wander through the many trails that feel like you are in a tropical, prehistoric fairyland. We've provided a year round pass for your use which gives access to the park free of charge (one carload). Downtown Beaufort and Port Royal have everything you could want if you do decide to venture off the water. Find phenomenal food, drinks, shopping, and lazy park swings at the waterfront. The surrounding area is kid-friendly with a number of parks just a few minutes’ drive. Entrances to the Spanish Moss Trail are only a few minutes from the house as well. And not to be missed is the Port Royal Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings (9am-12noon) where you can find a fantastic assortment of fresh, seasonal produce along with local coffee, sweet tea, baked goods, fresh pasta and so much more!
The entire Beaufort/Port Royal area is rich in history having been influenced first by the Spaniards, then the French and finally the English. There also is no other comparable place to see the unique Gullah culture, both in craft and food (www.bonappetit.com/story/bj-dennis-gullah-geechee). The Pigeon Nest Cottage is ideal for the cost-conscious traveler or couple who appreciates a cozy, homey venue for a getaway, and only a 10 minute walk to restaurants and shops. The little 220 ft.²addition fits perfectly in the new craze for "tiny house" living. It is connected to owners home by a 20x18 ft screened private veranda.
Situated in the Pigeon Point area of Beaufort close to the historic downtown, Chateau Petite Cottage aka Pigeon Nest Cottage is a small place with a lot of heart. The cottage is nestled among ancient Live Oak trees draped with Spanish moss, across the road from the Beaufort River. It offers our guests: a kitchenette (microwave oven, sink, refrigerator, coffee pot, toaster, 2 burner portable stove, and dishes,pots n' pans); coffee and breakfast bars for your first morning here, a bathroom with a shower and bath towels (including beach towels) beach chairs, and boogie boards are in shed..
. Bedroom/day room with a very comfortable daybed, that can either be used as 2 twins or a king size ; an HD flat-screen TV with cable channels; WIFI access; a bistro table with 2 chairs; in addition, you'll have access to a front-loading washer and dryer.
Outside, the cottage offers a large yard surrounded by a white picket fence ....as well as a private screened gazebo for guests .and a separate patio seating area with a table and chairs for relaxing and enjoying the flowers .
. A whimsical flower garden is in a continual process of "being complete."
In February of 2015 Diane's younger sister Bonnie passed away, and it spurred the idea of a memory garden for her.... a meandering path, graced with ferns, roses, daisies, hydrangeas, misc pretty flowers, as well as a precious pink flowered bush called "little Bonnie" have all been planted with love. You will also find teapots, bunnies and assorted little treasures to make you smile. Please spend time enjoying........ my flowers want to see you...
You also will get to have the delightful experience of meeting my 2 feline roomies Miss Maggie Grace, and Good Golly Miss Molly, the long haired calico. They love to be petted.!!!
