💯💯💯 recommend Lindartun Guesthouse! Stayed here for 1 night on 1st October 2024 after our drive to Highlands and got here when it was already dark but i loved the drive to the junction from the main road to the guesthouse. It was pretty dark around the area which we thought we could be lucky for aurora sightings but it was cloudy. Luckily, I asked the owner when was the last aurora sighting at the guesthouse and she immediately opened her laptop and that’s when I found put there’s aurora forecast website in Iceland. She was the one that let us know there’s higher chance to spot aurora on the upcoming friday due to clear sky. Oh btw, for our check-in process, when I first arrived and entered the guesthouse, please take off your shoes by the entrance, and go to reception area infront of the kitchen and take the house phone to call the owner. We booked room no. 5 which cones with a sofa bed and the long toom was so cute and cozy. This is the cutest guesthouse room design among all 13 accoms across the country during our trip. I really loved it a lot as the room was long and spacious. The common dining area was really nice and big which I didn’t really spend time here. But I used the kitchen the next morning to boil hot water and make myself my hot chocolate and instant mushroom soup. Worth my money. Will book again if I visit Iceland again next time! How I’d described it: Lindartun (Cute Cozy Homey Vibe) Room Type: 1 Queen Bed + 1 Sofa Bed Toilet: Private Bathroom (clean and big) Perks: Nice kitchen and dining area Thank you for helping me out with my aurora hunting and for maintaining a really cute and nice guesthouse, owner!

Upon arrival, we found the coffee cups above the fridge were dirty…in the evening, our door was shaking every time someone closed door in the same building…a bit disappointed due to these things. But the breakfast is better than expected.

Very close and walking distance to Skogafoss waterfall.  Breakfast was very good. Room is dated, no fridge but they offer free coffee/tea (machine) which is right outside the rooms. Water smelt like sulphur but it’s due to the geo thermal water they are using.

良いこと: - 朝食はとても良かった! - 部屋とベッドは暖かかった - お湯のシャワーは ほぼ即座に機能する - テレビで利用可能なNetflixとAmazon Prime。 改善できる: - トイレのスライドドアから大きな悲鳴が聞こえて迷惑でした。 - 床間の遮音性が悪く 1階にいて 一晩中足音が聞こえた私たちはこれをホテルのスタッフにフィードバックしましたが、「私はそれについて何もすることができません」という顔と肩をすくめ、彼らがそれについて何もするつもりはなかったことを明らかに示しました。 -部屋の電話が機能していなかった、スタッフはそれが一般的な問題だと言ったのでそれを再起動しなければなりませんでした。 - トイレの通気口が 動かなくなった また電源を切って また電源を入れるように言われた - レセプションで別のカップルと同じ時間にチェックインしましたが、スタンダードルームから補完的な部屋のアップグレードが受けられたと偶然聞きました(私たちと同じ)。アップグレードするかどうかも尋ねましたが、スタッフは部屋の支払い額に依存すると教えてくれました。しかし、明らかに同じスタンダードルームを予約しましたか? 全体: 客室料金は高い側で、多くの期待がありましたが、部屋とサービスの状態は配達されていませんでした。

外国人としてチェックインする際、名字しか確認されません。なぜ予約番号は確認されないのでしょうか？スイートルームを3部屋予約していたのですが、チェックイン時に、同じ名字だったため、1部屋が誤って別の人に割り当てられてしまいました。大きなミスでした。私たちも中国人であることを確認した後、ようやく部屋に行き、対応してくれる人を見つけました。フロントの女性は謝罪し、私たち一人一人に朝食を出してくれました。

素晴らしい滞在でした。2 度目の滞在です。王族のように歓迎されました。スタッフはとてもフレンドリーで、私たちの滞在をより良いものにするために最善を尽くしてくれました。レストランとスパもとても良かったです。本当に感謝しています。

ベッドはとても快適で、朝食を食べ損ねてしまいました。😂 ぐっすり眠れました。

The accommodation was fine. The accommodation was spacious, especially the bathroom, which had a countertop, which was useful for spreading all my cosmetics out! The place itself isn't a tourist destination, but it was very handy. There was supermarket nearby and petrol station and not far from the main road. Handy for the Flo nature reserve if you're into birdwatching. The coastline there is impressive. Big waves Or handy if you want to visit Reykjavik, which we did for the evening. (45 minute drive?). I didn't score so highly on service because there isn't any service as such. There were also no additional facilities other than the room and ensuite, which was fine. Parking is out the front and was plentiful. We stayed in mid-May and it was fortunately very quiet. We did arrive early, and were pleased to be allowed in to our rooms, so really appreciated that. The location is very good, and they have a restaurant, so guests who arrive late can have dinner there.
