We did a sister trip for our birthdays and thru the recommendation of a dear friend we were able to get a room here and we couldn’t have been happier. Everything was amazing from the location which is perfectly centrally located, to the room and most importantly the hosts from Joanna and Kaui to everyone I spoke to at the desk. Working in the industry for 27 years I know good customer service when I feel it … and the host of the Maui Coast Hotel are top notch! My sister and I can’t wait to go back! Keep doing what you’re doing … Denise from Honolulu

I would avoid staying here until their construction is completed and they get rid of their new affiliation with Kihei Caffe. Monday-Friday all day loud trucks, concrete machines, jack hammering outside the pool and can be heard from rooms. In regards to the food, it is a serious let down to see Kihei Caffe take over because their previous restaurant Kamaole Pool Side was delicious. Kihei caffe is a breakfast company that has clearly never prepared lunch or dinner meals. Very limited menu and hardly edible. The old rooms need serious updating. Popcorn ceilings, fans from the 90s and yellow stained step-over tubs in the bathroom. The bathroom door BARELY opens enough to squeeze by the toilet. There was a leak from the AC and carpet was soiled in my room. Their solution was the put a loud and large fan on it for two days. The van driver Jamie was absolutely wonderful and the front desk was very polite. Lastly, I find it odd that the hotel employees are not allowed to show their cultural tattoos but servers in the restaurant have face tattoos.
