"A beautiful location with many disappointments. The hotel is not centrally located and can only be reached by car. It is beautifully and quietly situated. From the outside, everything appears beautiful and pretty. However, upon closer inspection, disappointment sets in. The complex is spacious and has a lovely pool area. Our room was at the very bottom and separate, which we really liked. On the way to the room, we noticed that the construction debris had simply been thrown behind the wall. We had plenty of privacy, and the room was very large. Because the door wasn't airtight, many creepy crawlies and other small creatures could come and go under the door. There is no air conditioning, and it was very warm and stuffy in the room. There is a fan in the room, but it only produced more warm air. The ceiling fan is helpful, but it only targets our heads. Because of the humidity and the creepy crawlies, we couldn't unpack our suitcases and had to keep everything securely closed. Airing out the room was only possible in the evening, but since there were no fly screens, we had to live with the mosquitoes in the room. There were a lot of small ants crawling around on the woven side table in front of the couch, so we couldn't put anything down. Our friends also had clumps of hair in the shower from previous guests. The staff was mostly understaffed and only moderately friendly. In the morning, we had to clean up ourselves, and everything was still messy and dirty from the night before. The lids on the water bottles we ordered were moldy, and there was a hair in the jam. All in all, we were very disappointed and would not book another stay at this hotel. We also question what the "ego" in the hotel's name stands for, as it is anything but eco-friendly."
