Personally, I found this place to be regrettable and not worth what I paid, which was nearly $500 for one person for one night. (I was later told something about ”surge rates.”) Before getting ti the hotel, I went online and saw that rooms were a little over $200 on multipletravel booking sites. But when I get to the hotel, the front desk person, who was less than cordial, tells me that the only room they have is over $400. Now, I had traveled far to get there, it was raining, and I was exhausted, but I asked her again if there was anything else and she told me no, they were booked. Now, mind you, this was Buffalo on a Monday night. So, I reluctantly took the room because that's all they had, she said. I get to the room and there's crumbs all over the table and chairs and there's a strange stain on the bathroom door. I thought it'd be a little bit tidier for room that's over $400. The whole experience is nothing special. So, then when I call back the next day because I checked the websites again and all the travel sites say the rooms are a little over $200, I'm told that they have ”surge rates” or ”surge pricing” -- whatever that is! -- and that they were fully booked on a Monday in Buffalo. So, the whole thing was just an unfortunate and regrettable experience, and I never would stay there again, especially when I get my bill and a one-night stay for one person was nearly $500. Then when I checked out, the check out was just as unfriendly as when I checked in. Very bizarre experience for a Marriott Hotel.
