During our three-night stay at the hotel, we had a generally positive experience. The check-in process was smooth, but unfortunately, during check-out, we encountered a long queue, and the staff appeared overwhelmed. Despite this, our room was clean and comfortable, although we did encounter a minor issue with a broken TV remote. Moreover, we noticed that the gel/shampoo container in the shower was empty. Despite these minor inconveniences, the hotel's location was particularly advantageous, situated only a five-minute walk away from the Berliner Tor station. Additionally, we were impressed by the excellent quality of the breakfast provided. Overall, while we encountered some minor issues, our stay was generally comfortable and enjoyable.
A few issues with this hotel and mainly for this price I would expect more. There is not tea or coffee in the room. The hotel food and drink is very expensive. There was no dining options on a Monday night! This is a large hotel and not providing food for guests is odd. Sushi you can get but I am not a fan and there are no other options. The public areas are dark, I found it hard to see or enjoy the company of others in such a dark place. The front doors are hot and miss if they open, you can be left standing in the rain and cold for a while! The shower set up means the bathroom floor is always wet after using it. The beds are weird and have the smallest duvet covers and pillows. I’m not the plus the rooms are large and well soundproofed.
Nice rooms and a very good breakfast! The staff was really nice. Also, a nice gym but the spa facilities were disappointing. Mainly because the saunas did not open until 12. You could have opened this from at least 10 am as the pool was filled with kids in the morning. Furthermore, because of the many pool toys, kids were playing everywhere in the pool area. So no place for relaxation. The pool area was quite cold and you did not want to lay on the sunbeds. A new acoustical ceiling would be good in the pool area.
Very classy. Very expensive but worth the expense. The hotel did a great job restoring the building. First, the front desk staff are simply amazing. It was our first international trip since covid, so I was nervous and tired. But, the front desk peeps were welcoming and soothing. Thank you for your effusive welcome. The room is cozy especially the bed. The bathroom is fairly large and very clean and comfortable. The resto has a stunning view of the river. I would have stayed there often except that I was avoiding food as I struggle with my weight. Overall, simply awesome!
KkatariinamTLDR: New aparthotel, near subway We stayed at Aparthotel Adagio Access Hamburg in June-July. Had a family studio for four. Everything is just like in pictures, this a brand new hotel (and it’s not in progress anymore). Our view was on subway side and it was peaceful. We had windows wide open on nights when kids slept and they didn’t notice anything. Location is not in the middle of everything, but it’s between two subway stations (Lübecker Straße and Uhlandstraße). Many visitors seemed to have their cars with them (there is parking space), but we were interrailing and this worked well for us, too. Check out 9 am day tickets! Stayed almost a week. There’s Rewe and Aldi supermarkets nearby and also restaurants (eg. Domino’s). The hotel has basic kitchen appliances + Nescafe machine. You can also loan other kitchen appliances (toaster, coffee machines, rice cookers etc) from the reseption. There is also free air hockey that you can play after 4 pm. There is a small gym (for free) downstairs and laundry machine (you need coins, 4 €/load). You get coffee and tea for free from breakfast area (even though you didn’t buy breakfast, we didn’t), but there’s milk (for latte, hot chocolate etc) only during the breakfast time. Only thing was that our room was next to elevators and the door before them is surprisingly light, and made a sound to our wall every time someone used it. And as we stayed a little longer and cleaning during the stay wasn’t included, it would have been nice if there was a vacuumcleaner or something to loan for cleaning (we loove Hamburg’s spielplätze and most of them have lots of sand….). But this are sooooo little, all of our family said 5/5 and want to stay again. All in all, good choice. Kids loved. Quiet place, good service.
We were traveling with 2 little dogs and due to the very hot weather needed a place with working AC. This location stated that all rooms had working AC however the AC was blowing hot air the whole time. We ended up needing to keep the large window open for some air but the street was so loud we barely slept. When confronted with the front desk they told us there was nothing they could do but give us 15euro refund for parking. When we went to get the refund the next morning the women was not told of the issue and was not kind about the refund, which was pretty lame for what we had booked. To note the bathroom door slams shut every time and won’t stay open thus not not child/ animal friendly as fingers can get squished.
JJade DRight in the middle of the Reeperbahn, near KFC, very rowdy but this is a safe hotel that accommodates tourists. We loved the convenience of being able to explore St Pauli and also get a taxi to the airport in the middle of the night as the taxi rank is just downstairs.
Smelt of smoke in our room, but it was still clean and well-prepared. Looks like the photos, but no elevator till the 1st floor.
This was the view from our room, we were street facing but slept well, the hotel is well insulated from noise.
ゲゲストAufzug ab 1. Stock. Kaffee schmeckt gut.
