Of the five places we stayed on our trip visiting the Big Five Parks, this was my favorite. It's a short walk to the park's Visitors Center from the hotel. There's a coffee shop (which makes delicious sandwiches), a grocery store, Brew Pub, and a store with hiking gear next door to the Lodge. We ate twice at the Brew Pub -- casual with good food. The complex also has a shuttle that will take you into the park and then another that will take you into the very cute town of Springdale. (We ate one evening in Springdale.) The room had a small fridge, sink, microwave, and coffee maker. If you were looking for a very quick dinner in your room, you could grab something at the grocery store and heat it up. The Lodge also had a laundry and a pool. The only thing we found odd in our room: there was no dresser and there was room for one under the wall-mounted TV. That was odd.
I had so much fun staying at the casitas! There was live music at the restaurant next door and a small local farmers market! It was super fun to grab a drink and tacos and then walk back to the casita and listen to the live music from our porch (don't worry it stopped around 8:30-9pm) The casita was fully stocked with a cute welcome basket with things like bath salts, shower steamers, and some snacks. I loved the giant bath tub and the bed was super comfortable. I can't wait to come back
