The loft is above Sweetgrass Pantry and Provision where you can buy fresh bakery items as well as craft beer, wine, snacks, etc. The exterior stairs lead you to a welcome retreat that makes ‘Oyster Bed’s’ individuality shine. You are also located one block from the scenic Waterfront Park, and a short walk to historic Old Point neighborhood to see the beautiful antebellum homes. The beach at Hunting Island State Park is about a 15-minute drive away. Oyster Bed is a fully furnished apartment which includes a bedroom with queen bed, bathroom with shower, and a kitchenette. The Pigeon Nest Cottage is ideal for the cost-conscious traveler or couple who appreciates a cozy, homey venue for a getaway, and only a 10 minute walk to restaurants and shops. Situated in the Pigeon Point area of Beaufort close to the historic downtown, Chateau Petite Cottage aka Pigeon Nest Cottage is a small place with a lot of heart. The cottage is nestled among ancient Live Oak trees draped with Spanish moss, across the road from the Beaufort River. It was built in the late 1800s after the recent "unpleasantness". This cottage is so cheerful and has such a sweet spirit, a bad mood will disappear very quickly. This quiet street is two blocks from the Beaufort River at Bellamy Curve as well as eateries and shops of Uptown. The open living room and kitchen has vaulted ceilings and large windows that look out to the garden.
