このホテルは中山路に隣接した絶好のロケーションにあります。部屋は清潔でサービスも良かったです。2泊しましたが、ドアに「Do Not Disturb(起こさないでください)」のサインがあり、DND(おやすみなさい)ランプも点灯していました。

**Key British English Nuances**
• "Revitalised" over "revitalized", "harmonised" over "harmonized"
• Culturally embedded explanations: *Liyuan* (italicised as foreign term), *Chuanli* with contextual gloss
• Emphasis on lyrical flow over rigid literal translation (e.g., "living tapestry of Qingdao’s past")
• Period-specific references clarified for international audiences (e.g., "xiangsheng (comic dialogue)")

I had a very disappointing and concerning stay at this hotel.
The room had no window, and the air conditioning was not functioning properly, only blowing air without cooling. I contacted the front desk, and they only provided a small fan and an air cooler, which did not solve the problem and the room remained very uncomfortable.
The most serious issue happened around 2 a.m. when a fire alarm suddenly went off. All guests rushed to evacuate via the stairs, but we later discovered that the stairwell door was locked. This created a very alarming safety concern, as in a real emergency situation, guests could have been trapped inside.
Overall, the lack of proper ventilation, poor air-conditioning, and serious safety concerns made this stay unacceptable. I hope the hotel takes these issues seriously, especially regarding guest safety and emergency preparedness.
ゲゲストDefinitely not a 5 star hotel they claim to be on Trip.com.
The first room we were checked-in had a broken window that couldn’t be opened and the reception didn’t know about it, although the window was closed with a tape and they should have known that this room had a problem. There were not many guests in the hotel and plenty of rooms to be offered.
In the next room we found out that the show was out of hot water. The problem was with the central supply system and instead of repairing it themselves, the hotel engineer was coming to our room claiming that we should discharge water for 5-10 minutes before hot water starts coming out. This kept going for almost an hour, we were tired and wanted to sleep because it was late evening. The problem didn’t require our assistance because the problem was with the whole hot water supply system, not with our exact room.
Also, they brought us a small heater to the room which I was surprised about, but then I understood that it was because the air-conditioner which had a heater mode, didn’t work well. I doubt that the hotel would have enough heaters for all rooms in case they had more guests. Without the heater it was quite cold in the room.
Next morning the house keeper came at 9-30 am!!!Which is insane. We were sleeping. I’ve never encountered a hotel at which the house keeper came that early and disturbed the guests.
Finally when leaving the hotel, we wanted to take those one-time use sleepers with us to use during the flight and found out to our surprise, that for 4 days we were living in the hotel sleepers were not changed even once. I called the reception, it was early morning (like 6-30 am) and they told me that the house keeper will bring us the sleepers when she comes to work. I told that we were leaving already and the reception promised to bring the sleepers asap. 10 minutes later nobody came and we went to check-out. At the check-out I asked for the sleepers again and told the receptionist that the taxi has almost arrived, so that she could bring us the sleepers first and then proceed with the check-out. She didn’t listen to me, still first processed the check-out and only after it went for the sleepers. So it basically took me half an hour and my nerves to get the sleepers that were supposed to be in my room from the very beginning.
The general manager talked to us after the case with the hot water and the house keeper coming early in the morning. He was very polite, but this doesn’t eliminate the fact that basic services in this hotel leave much to be desired.
On the plus side, very comfortable beds and clean spacious room.
