ダリへのこの旅行は、ダデシェンフーホテルを選びました。赤ちゃんを連れて行くのはとても良い経験でした。ホテルは古代都市に近く、買い物や食事に便利で、騒がしくありません。全体的に暖かいバイ族の中庭スタイルで、環境は清潔で静かです。子供たちは庭の緑の植物と小さな景色が好きです。 部屋は広として明るく、寝具は快適で、衛生状態も整っているので、赤ちゃんと一緒に安心して暮らせる。設備は整っており、お湯は安定しており、サービススタッフは親切で、ニーズにタイムリーに対応し、親子遊びに適したルートやレストランを親密にお勧めします。 公共エリアは広としていて、子供たちは適度に活動でき、セキュリティも良好です。ホテルは静かで、夜はよく休んでいて、翌日は元気いっぱいです。高性能-価格比、思いやりのあるサービス、快適な環境、家族連れや子供連れの旅行に最適です。次回ダリに来るときはここを選びます。私は本当にすべてのバオパオママにそれをお勧めします!

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us moved the luggage from the drop off point to the hotel and booked a ferry service for my family. The hotel was very tastefully designed and the bed was very comfortable. The only drawback was the lack of clothes hook in the bathroom for you to hang clothes when you bath. The local breakfast set was very big in portion and tasty. The hotel is located on a little island that is linked to the main land by a small bridge. The whole shuanglang gu zhen is very busy and lots of shops to walk around.

The guest house owners were very initiative. They picked us up from the Dali Railway station. The rooms were clean. Since there are 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 kids, we had a big room and a smaller room joined together with 2 large beds. The view was amazing. Upon arrival, it was 4.45pm, and we asked for recommendations of where to eat. However, since it's neither dinner nor lunch time, the owner Mr Hao suggested that we eat in the guesthouse itself. The guest house auntie cooked for us the best rice noodles that we have eaten so far. Springy white noodles in a bowl of hot flavourful broth. My kids slurped it all up and polished the whole big bowl. When we asked for recommendations on local eating places, Mr Hao gave us a whole list of his specially curated food places, which we managed to try 2 of them. And indeed they were good. The downside was that there were no coffee or tea sachets in the room. But they said they will make it for us and can send it to our rooms. They mentioned that they have a tea room. And so we enjoyed the 2 types of brewed puer tea while Mr Hao explained a little about the tea. Personally, I feel that since they have a special tea room to enjoy tea, sending sachet or tea bags would be inappropriate and a disrespect to the art of enjoying Puer tea. Location wise, it has a good view of the lake. And it's quiet. It's not exactly near the old town but we took a taxi (20 mins) to the old town. Thankfully, we didn't stay at the old town as it's way too crowded, and we felt it's a tourist trap. However, near the guest house, there were many highly recommended restaurants. The guest house has a dining area on the 1st floor. One thing that I really enjoyed about this place is the dining area. The lady that cooked the meal for us looked like a typical chinese grandma (which reminded me of my late grandma) that she cooked the food so deliciously with passion. While we had our breakfast she would sit at another table, she wasnt staring , just casually sitting while browsing her phone or ensuring we finish our food but her presence reminded me of when my late grandma would sit and watch us eat to ensure we have no leftovers. Lol. It was an oddly familiar and nostalgic feeling that we laughed about. But we do get the homey feel, which we really liked. The guest house also had a laundry room for guests to use. The guest house owners were very initiative, friendly, and helpful. Anything we need, we just let Mr Hao know, and he would reply. He even offered to send us back to the highway station. It's definitely highly recommended. And I would ask my friends that should they come to Dali, they should stay in this place. It's just perfect for us.

我們一家四口過來的，看了房間就直接預訂了。房間設施齊全，都是實木傢俱。非常有質感！還有洗衣房，有烘乾機，對於下雨天真的是非常方便了。 而且這邊入住可以免費停車，停車場離民宿非常近，民宿在古城裡麪，四周都是主幹道，車可以直到旁邊，不管是吃飯逛街都非常方便。 民宿老闆服務也很到位，入住有歡迎水果，每天還有甜品蛋糕，和老闆娘親手做的各種飲品。非常方便美味。 房間面積大，洗漱衞生間三分離，動線也非常合理，房間打掃的特別乾淨，進去有淡淡的香味。特別要推薦的是他們家床品，床墊，枕頭都特別舒服，而且房間隔音非常好，一覺睡到大天亮，完全聽不到外面的聲音，不出門我在房間可以呆一天。特別推薦，以後來還會住這👍👍👍

The hotel room design and surroundings were true to picture, and it was nothing short of amazing. The staff were extremely hospitable, and goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. Would definitely stay here again.

I cannot recommend Sunyata Homestay in Dali enough! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was more than just a place to stay—it was an experience of genuine warmth and care. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, providing a serene escape after long days of exploring. The afternoon tea and breakfast they served were nothing short of extraordinary. I’ve stayed in multiple 4-5 star hotels across China over the past month, but the gourmet food here easily surpassed them all. Every bite was thoughtfully prepared, leaving me in awe of the flavors and quality. The location of Sunyata Homestay is also perfect. It’s just far enough from the bustling crowds to remain peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to Dali Ancient City that it’s only a few steps away from great eateries and the heart of the ancient town. The balance is ideal for anyone seeking convenience without sacrificing tranquility. A special shout-out to the young lady working in the coffee shop up front—her coffee is unparalleled! My husband, who is a daily coffee drinker and rarely impressed, couldn’t stop raving about her brews. It was, hands down, the best coffee we had during our travels. The staff here deserve every bit of praise. They were attentive, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. However, what truly sets Sunyata apart is the incredible owner. My father had a bad accident in Dali on a rainy day, and I can honestly say I don’t know what I would have done without his support. Despite my limited Mandarin, he spent an entire day accompanying me to the hospital, ensuring we were well cared for and understood. The next day, he went out of his way to pick up the CT scans for us. His kindness and compassion left me speechless. The owner’s dedication to his guests is reflected in his amazing team, all of whom go above and beyond. Without his help, I would have had to cut my trip to China short. Instead, he turned a difficult situation into one where we felt supported and cared for like family. Sunyata Homestay is truly one of a kind, and I will forever be grateful for their hospitality. This is not just a place to stay; it’s a haven of comfort, care, and culinary delights. Thank you, Sunyata, for everything!

I just want to say how much I truly enjoyed my stay at your homestay. The location by Erhai Lake is absolutely stunning — waking up in the morning to such calm and beautiful views felt like a dream. The quiet surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and recharge, and I’ll never forget the peaceful atmosphere. Your hospitality really made the experience special. The way you supported and cared for me as a guest was beyond anything I’ve experienced before. It’s rare to meet someone so genuinely attentive and thoughtful, and I felt completely at home because of you. I first stayed at Dali Xicheng Past Life Aesthetic Designer Boutique Stay (Erhai Lake Ecological Corridor) in May last year, and I enjoyed it so much that I chose to return for another stay this year. Coming back only reaffirmed why this remains one of my favorite places to stay in Dali. What I love most about this place is its atmosphere. It offers a wonderful sense of peace and privacy while still being connected to the gentle rhythm of life along the ecological corridor. It truly feels like a home away from home. One of my favorite moments each morning was waking up early to watch the sunrise from my balcony. Seeing the first golden light slowly illuminate the mountains was such a beautiful and calming way to begin the day. I also loved sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee, simply watching cyclists ride by, people taking leisurely walks, and locals strolling with their dogs. There is something incredibly soothing about enjoying the liveliness of the surroundings while remaining in your own quiet and comfortable space. The owner is exceptionally kind, warm, and attentive. Their genuine hospitality and thoughtful care make every guest feel welcomed and at ease, which is one of the reasons I happily chose to stay here again. The boutique stay itself is beautifully designed, blending aesthetic charm with comfort. Every detail feels thoughtfully curated, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere where it is easy to slow down and appreciate the beauty and slower pace of Dali. The fact that I chose to return for a second stay speaks for itself. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat with beautiful mountain sunrises, a homely atmosphere, and heartfelt hospitality, this is truly a hidden gem in Dali, and I would gladly come back again.
