The room was incredibly spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The sea view was right in front of us, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the housekeeper was warm and chatty.

Very comfortable stay with all amenities needed. Room is very new, spacious and clean. Comfortable bed. Within walking distance to ancient city of Da Li yet quiet at night. Next door bbq skewer is a must try for late night supper. The staff is helpful and friendly and recommends delicious mushroom hotpot nearby. They brought us to neighbouring hotel which is owned by the same boss for scrumptious buffet breakfast spread. Definitely 5 Stars. Strongly recommended! 👍

ホームステイはとても新鮮で静かで、庭に入るとすぐに疲れが消え、庭に座って日光浴をして景色を眺めるのはとても良いです!部屋の窓の外の遮るもののない眺めは素晴らしく、特に朝起きてカーテンを開けるのはとても快適です! !唯一の残念なことは、部屋でエルハイ湖を見ることができないことです。そうしないと、緑と海の景色は素晴らしいですが、幸いなことに、エルハイ湖に非常に近く、ドアで補うことができます。入り口の景色はとても良く、高齢者は散歩し、若者は乗って、子供たちは水遊びに適しています。芝生でピクニックをする人を見たり、森にハンモックを掛けたりするのは気持ちがいいです。次回はハハハハを試してみます。私はこのリラックスした宿泊体験が本当に好きです!

数日間滞在しました。 清潔さ：とても清潔で、スタッフの方が毎日掃除してくれます。 環境：立地がとても良く、どの観光スポットへ行くにも便利です。部屋のバルコニーからは遠くまで見渡せ、景色が素晴らしいです。 サービス：サービスは完璧でした。チェックインの際には、ホテルの女性スタッフが迎えに来てくれましたし、滞在中の要望もほとんど応えてくれました。 ホテルでは24時間、フルーツと飲み物を提供しています。 とても良かったです。

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dali Ancient Town Meishan Guesthouse, and it exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Location – unbeatable and worry-free The location is extremely convenient, right in the heart of Dali Ancient Town. As soon as you step outside, you’re surrounded by beautiful ancient streets and alleys, full of local character. 2-3 mins walk away from the Bars. Attractions, cafes, shops, and amazing food are all within walking distance, which made exploring incredibly easy and stress-free. From check-in to check-out, the entire stay felt completely worry-free. Service – warm, genuine, and unforgettable The biggest highlight of this guesthouse is without a doubt the host. The lady boss is unbelievably friendly, considerate, and welcoming. She is super nice, enthusiastic, and very meticulous in everything she does. From contacting me in advance, patiently explaining routes, to sharing travel tips and local suggestions, she made me feel taken care of even before I arrived. Staying here truly felt like coming home rather than staying at a guesthouse. What made this stay truly special was the personal connection. She even invited me to join a barbecue with her and her friends. We had drinks, chatted late into the night, and shared stories about our cultures, life views, and experiences. Even though I only stayed for two nights, that evening made my time in Dali unforgettable. I felt incredibly lucky to have arrived back just in time for the barbecue. The Bai Jiu, the Yi Zu-style barbecue pork, and the homemade dumplings she made were all fantastic. The atmosphere was relaxed, warm, and full of laughter. Even small details were fun, like the pot cover shaped like the Rolls-Royce Spirit of Ecstasy, which gave us a good laugh. It was one of those nights you don’t plan for, but it’s the highlight of the trip that you will remember for a long time. 😎 Room & Sleep Quality – quiet, comfortable, and well designed The room itself was quiet and very comfortable, with good sound insulation and a thoughtful renovation design that blends modern comfort with traditional charm. The bedding was clean and high quality, and the bathroom was spotless and well equipped. I slept extremely well every night. The entire guesthouse is beautifully designed, cozy, and relaxing, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. Value – exquisite and worth every penny This is a highly cost-effective and exquisite accommodation. You can see the attention to detail everywhere, from the design to the service. It perfectly balances the charm of the ancient town with modern convenience. It’s absolutely worth experiencing, and I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip. Final thoughts I returned home a few days ago, but when I think back on my trip to Yunnan, Dali still stands out as the most chill and relaxing place and Meishan Guesthouse is a big reason why. The friendly host, the warm atmosphere, and the meaningful conversations made this stay truly special. If I could give 11 stars, I would. Hands down one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Highly, highly recommended. Will definitely be back!!!

The property is situated among preserved buildings that share the same traditional architectural design, making you feel as though you’ve traveled back in time to the olden days. It’s a perfect blend of history and comfort. Mr. Wang, the gentleman who manages the place, is incredibly friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to provide excellent advice on where to visit in Dali, which made my trip even more enjoyable. Overall, this is a hidden gem that offers a unique experience, combining traditional aesthetics with warm hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay in Dali!

The room and view was exactly the same as the photos. Service was great. As there were 12 of us with 1 big luggage each they arranged for transport for us and our luggages as the tour bus cannot be driven into the resort area. As we are all vegetarians, they even prepared fruits pizza for breakfast for us. Overall recommend! However the sound proof of the room on the 3rd floor could be better as the location of the resort is at the busiest part of the street. We could hear people talking and all the noise coming from the streets. But good thing is that all activities will be stopped at 11pm and it’ll be very quiet then! Overall recommend this resort for the location and fabulous service!
