WwhiskiConveniently located along Erhai, the view just looking out of the hotel is too mesmerising. Hospitality at the hotel was awesome - staff often friendly and going the extra mile to assist with the Didi booking or recommendations for the local dining options and luggage assistance. Authentic Bai cuisine could be found within walking distance of the hotel. The s curve was also round the corner. They were generous with their food options during breakfast, they sharw their white fungus pear dessert every evening i was there, they also give you a fresh fruit bowl daily and gift you a parting gift when you check out. THANK you for making my family and i feeling right at home even when we werent.

JJovin_WongI had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dali Ancient Town Meishan Guesthouse, and it exceeded my expectations in every possible way.
Location – unbeatable and worry-free
The location is extremely convenient, right in the heart of Dali Ancient Town. As soon as you step outside, you’re surrounded by beautiful ancient streets and alleys, full of local character. 2-3 mins walk away from the Bars. Attractions, cafes, shops, and amazing food are all within walking distance, which made exploring incredibly easy and stress-free. From check-in to check-out, the entire stay felt completely worry-free.
Service – warm, genuine, and unforgettable
The biggest highlight of this guesthouse is without a doubt the host. The lady boss is unbelievably friendly, considerate, and welcoming. She is super nice, enthusiastic, and very meticulous in everything she does. From contacting me in advance, patiently explaining routes, to sharing travel tips and local suggestions, she made me feel taken care of even before I arrived. Staying here truly felt like coming home rather than staying at a guesthouse.
What made this stay truly special was the personal connection. She even invited me to join a barbecue with her and her friends. We had drinks, chatted late into the night, and shared stories about our cultures, life views, and experiences. Even though I only stayed for two nights, that evening made my time in Dali unforgettable. I felt incredibly lucky to have arrived back just in time for the barbecue.
The Bai Jiu, the Yi Zu-style barbecue pork, and the homemade dumplings she made were all fantastic. The atmosphere was relaxed, warm, and full of laughter. Even small details were fun, like the pot cover shaped like the Rolls-Royce Spirit of Ecstasy, which gave us a good laugh. It was one of those nights you don’t plan for, but it’s the highlight of the trip that you will remember for a long time. 😎
Room & Sleep Quality – quiet, comfortable, and well designed
The room itself was quiet and very comfortable, with good sound insulation and a thoughtful renovation design that blends modern comfort with traditional charm. The bedding was clean and high quality, and the bathroom was spotless and well equipped. I slept extremely well every night. The entire guesthouse is beautifully designed, cozy, and relaxing, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring.
Value – exquisite and worth every penny
This is a highly cost-effective and exquisite accommodation. You can see the attention to detail everywhere, from the design to the service. It perfectly balances the charm of the ancient town with modern convenience. It’s absolutely worth experiencing, and I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip.
Final thoughts
I returned home a few days ago, but when I think back on my trip to Yunnan, Dali still stands out as the most chill and relaxing place and Meishan Guesthouse is a big reason why. The friendly host, the warm atmosphere, and the meaningful conversations made this stay truly special.
If I could give 11 stars, I would. Hands down one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Highly, highly recommended. Will definitely be back!!!

周辺にはコンビニエンスストアや小さなレストランがたくさんあり、タクシーも簡単に見つかるため、生活に便利です。
客室数はそれほど多くありませんが、フロントスタッフは複数の業務を兼任しており、非常に多忙なようです。常に分刻みのスケジュールで動いているのを見ると、大変そうだと感じます。
このホテルは、古城の隣という絶好のロケーションにあり、コストパフォーマンスも高く、人情味あふれるサービスが魅力の質の高いホテルです。
大理を訪れる観光客で、静かに休みながらも古城を便利に散策したい方にとって、ここは非常に理想的な選択肢となるでしょう。

XXinerbj大理旅行の際にはこのサービスアパートメントを強くお勧めします！隣のパールマンに勝ります、同じ価格、2倍以上の部屋の面積、比類のない海の景色と夜景、24時間電話で無料の炊きたてビーフン、無料の空港と電車の送迎、最高のロケーション、階下に放射状500メートル、地元の食べ物街、洱海公園でカモメ観察、大理埠頭ではクルーズ船があります。完璧な選択です！ 24時間対応のバトラーサービスでは、枕が不快で柔らかすぎるとのことでしたので、すぐにラテックス製の枕が届けられました。唯一の欠点は、部屋、特にリビングルームに電源スイッチがいくつかあることです。ただし、これはハードウェアの問題でもあるため、避けることはできません。

BBuzhimingnanshi妻と私は麗江から大理への結婚旅行に行っていました。妻が予約したかったホテルには部屋がありませんでした。このホテルは同じホテルに属しています。それから私たちは二日間滞在しました。
古都と蒼山の間に位置し、古都と洱海の夜景を眺めることができます。スタッフはとても優しいです。話し方もとても穏やかで、ゲストに対しても温かく丁寧に接してくれます。
彼らの庭は素晴らしく、ドアを開けるとすぐに花の香りがすることができます。庭園もあります。妻が気に入っているのは、風がとても強いホテルです。ホテルに入ると、花や植物、木々が生い茂る植物の海にいるような気分になります。朝は鳥や虫のさえずりで目が覚めます。
なんて素晴らしいホテルでしょう。

ゲゲストThis hotel truly deserves its high ratings. The scenic view from the room was spectacular. A minor note for future guests: the final access lane is a bit narrow, so some Didi drivers may drop you at the entrance—it's just a short, easy 2 minutes walk from there. This small detail is far outweighed by the exceptionally attentive service. The hotel provides complimentary nighttime warm milk (8-10 PM) and a lovely take homegift of local flower biscuits. To top it all off, they kindly upgraded my room for free. A wonderful stay thanks to a team that goes above and beyond.

ゲゲストTheir service is incredible and the hotel is very clean. Staff were friendly and really helpful, thanks to them for offering a suitable solution for my sick friend who needed more rest.
We didn’t get the time to walk around the hotel, so the pictures I took were mainly the surrounding area which was beautiful. (Didn’t expect to see so many 蓝花 still at the end of May)
As for the room, it was big and spacious. First picture is view, last picture was when we were stargazing. The only things to note is that there isn’t really a place for clothes in the shower area, only a small place to hold shower bottles.
Another would be the need to plug the insect repellent to the switch upon entering the room. We were oblivious at first so there were many mosquitoes in the common area, and thankfully none in the other room.
Finally a tip, you can ask them to transport you to 理想邦 and there is also a discount.
Overall, we had a lovely stay thanks to the hotel’s hospitality☺️

ゲゲスト可以免費停車不過是在雙廊外的停車場，老闆會幫忙把行李接送，雖然老闆會告訴你具體位置在哪裡，但酒店位置還是有點難找，需要繞進小巷子裏，院子整體環境不錯，房間也還可以能直接看到洱海，還送了早餐，樓頂還有個大的觀景平台，喜歡拍照的應該會喜歡，很出片

ゲゲストWe rented the Garden Deluxe Room, with a mountain view. We find the description and pictures were accurately advertised, and the service was impeccable. We were very pleased with our rental, as it was private, clean and orderly. The hotel is conveniently located within the Dali Ancient Town, close to Biai Road and Renmin Road intersection (see picture of map). The morning and night views from the terrace were stunning. The Dali Ancient Town is as lively as you would imagine, with tons of food and shopping options. Our experience in Dali was awesome, with it's majestic mountains, beautiful lake, vibrant towns and peaceful villages.
However, the best part of this stay was our interactions with the hotel owners, who are a lovely couple. They are good people - very kind, helpful and approachable. Although we had to use an English to Mandarin translation app for most of our conversations, they were patient and made recommendations that we really enjoyed. They helped us book a tour of Erhai Lake and we had a wonderful time sightseeing with the bus tour company (highly recommended if you don't know where to start exploring). We also took their scooter bike to explore the Three Pagodas on our own and drove around the lake afterwards. Please consider renting their scooter bike, as it was super fun and the price is very affordable. As language is a barrier for us, they not only helped us book our ride to Lijiang, but they also gave us a hotel recommendation, which their son runs. To us, they are very trustworthy, so we're sure we will have another pleasant stay in Lijiang.
After all, it's not how clean the hotel is, or how beautiful the surroundings are, it's the people we meet along the way that makes it a wonderul trip experience. If there is another hotel rating for overall hotel experience, it would be a 10/5 for us. The owners definitely made our short stay very comfortable and our adventures amazing - thank you so much! We would definitely come back to this hotel if we are in this area again!
