The owners are so attentive, friendly and helpful - provided local guide and recommendations upon check-in. They even gave souvenirs upon check-out, very lovely! Room is spacious and super clean! location is hidden from the main road, but a 10 mins walking distance to the old town. Overall, definitely recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay here because the owner was very kind and helpful, they always smile at us, the hotel is nice, the room was very comfortable, clean, sterile, and fragrant, they also helped carry our suitcases, the owner is a husband and wife who treated us like family, we felt like home, they also helped pick up my package from taobao which almost got lost 🥹☺️. And they have a very cute dog named taopao 😍. The location of this hotel is very strategic close to the Bo’ai Gate and the South Gate, around the hotel there are many restaurants and supermarkets. I really recommend this hotel because the facilities are complete and the price is affordable, I will stay here again if I visit dali next time ☺️☺️

I had an absolutely incredible stay here, it was easily the best hotel experience I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm and genuine welcome from the host and his family, making us feel right at home immediately. Our bedroom was impressively spacious and kept perfectly clean throughout our visit. The highlight, however, was the spectacular view; waking up to a panoramic vista of both the city and the lake was truly unforgettable. What really set this place apart was the exceptional hospitality. The host took care of us from the beginning until the very end of our stay, going above and beyond by even personally taking us to the bus stop when it was time to leave. 衞生：這方面沒的説，庭院內和房間內都收拾的很乾凈 設施：挺齊全的，該有的都有了 服務：房東一家都很熱情，入住當天提前聯繫我們，加了微信給我們發攻略和位置，因為出租車衹能開到村口，姐姐還騎電車去接我們，幫忙拿了行李，給我們介紹周邊的吃的和玩的，還幫我們聯繫了租車的（租車是為了騎去大理古城哦，不是去洱海，洱海騎行還是建議去廊道里麪騎那種掃碼的共享電動車），退房當天也是房東大叔早起幫我們送行李，非常感謝！而且入住的時候還給我們升級了房間，比我們原來定的要大很多（圖片是我們升級後的房型，帶帷幔的大床房） 位置：才村這個地方還是很方便的，生活氣息比較濃厚，吃喝玩樂都比較齊全，從民宿出發步行3分鐘就能到洱海邊，看日出簡直太方便了，晚上去才村夜市，早上去吃早餐，都是衹需要步行8分鐘，地理位置很優越。 才村夜市上有一個帥氣小哥賣舂雞腳舂芒果，美味爽口而且很乾凈（反正是我見過的最乾淨的了），當晚直接幹掉兩份！

I booked this place after reading the reviews about the above and beyond service, and the connection that guests were able to make with the owner of the accommodation. When there are hundreds of hotels to choose from, I value getting to know the humans behind a business. Unfortunately during my stay the main owner whom the reviews refer to, was away. The staff that was in place was helpful, but I felt gave me the one simplest solution to any question I had, rather than the best possible solution, or even options, for what I needed help with. I probably had an anomaly of an experience. The room was spacious and fairly clean. There was a bathroom window in the room that had no blinds or curtains, and the courtyard lights would stream into the room past 10pm, which meant that the room was not completely dark. I included a photo - the light is a lot more obvious and pervasive in a dark room. I had to sleep with an eye mask on, which thankfully, I had. I would suggest to the owners to put a curtain or some blinds up in the bathroom window. I would still recommend this hotel for its quiet location and proximity to the ancient city (8-10yuan Didi ride). Hopefully you'll have the lady boss around during your stay.

I just want to say how much I truly enjoyed my stay at your homestay. The location by Erhai Lake is absolutely stunning — waking up in the morning to such calm and beautiful views felt like a dream. The quiet surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and recharge, and I’ll never forget the peaceful atmosphere. Your hospitality really made the experience special. The way you supported and cared for me as a guest was beyond anything I’ve experienced before. It’s rare to meet someone so genuinely attentive and thoughtful, and I felt completely at home because of you. Thank you for creating such a wonderful space and for being such a super supportive host. This homestay is truly a gem, and I’ll always remember the warmth and beauty I found here. I’ll definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Dali!

It is a beautiful hostel in a perfect position into the ancient town… services are really great and the owners are really helpfull and kind

We rented the Garden Deluxe Room, with a mountain view. We find the description and pictures were accurately advertised, and the service was impeccable. We were very pleased with our rental, as it was private, clean and orderly. The hotel is conveniently located within the Dali Ancient Town, close to Biai Road and Renmin Road intersection (see picture of map). The morning and night views from the terrace were stunning. The Dali Ancient Town is as lively as you would imagine, with tons of food and shopping options. Our experience in Dali was awesome, with it's majestic mountains, beautiful lake, vibrant towns and peaceful villages. However, the best part of this stay was our interactions with the hotel owners, who are a lovely couple. They are good people - very kind, helpful and approachable. Although we had to use an English to Mandarin translation app for most of our conversations, they were patient and made recommendations that we really enjoyed. They helped us book a tour of Erhai Lake and we had a wonderful time sightseeing with the bus tour company (highly recommended if you don't know where to start exploring). We also took their scooter bike to explore the Three Pagodas on our own and drove around the lake afterwards. Please consider renting their scooter bike, as it was super fun and the price is very affordable. As language is a barrier for us, they not only helped us book our ride to Lijiang, but they also gave us a hotel recommendation, which their son runs. To us, they are very trustworthy, so we're sure we will have another pleasant stay in Lijiang. After all, it's not how clean the hotel is, or how beautiful the surroundings are, it's the people we meet along the way that makes it a wonderul trip experience. If there is another hotel rating for overall hotel experience, it would be a 10/5 for us. The owners definitely made our short stay very comfortable and our adventures amazing - thank you so much! We would definitely come back to this hotel if we are in this area again!

The room is opposite the lake, got a terrace to sit and chill. The view is amazing. However, there is no convenience store around hotel, need to walk for a while. Breakfast is not much but noodle is delicious.
