Very smart hotel in an amazing location making the whole of Berlin easily accessible by U-Bahn or indeed on foot. Public areas including the lobby are furnished to very high standard. Facilities including the well appointed gym and large thermal suite were very good, especially for a city hotel. For me the only drawbacks were the service levels , there was no greeting when you arrived back despite their often being a doorman around reception , breakfast although in its offering was good was a rather chaotic affair you have to find your own table and then get your own hot drinks which resulted in long lines at the coffee machines , other properties of this standard don’t usually operate in this way. Overall a good option and would definitely stay again however.
Mixed feelings with our stay. Hotel did a good service recovery by putting us at their sister hotel- exe suite room as they sold our room on the first night and gave us complimentary abf and sight seeing tour bus tickets.
Though given a suite, we do not like the room as much as hotel luc (modern) and a hassle to wake early to check in to hotel luc on the next day. Morning shift staff seems unaware of our complimentary taxi ride back and other complimentary which we have to spend more time waiting
There is a tram stop near the hotel or it only takes 5-7 minutes to walk to the nearby S-bahn station. The room is stylish and air-conditioned.
The hotel partnered with TechnoGym and guests can access to the gym during the stay - it really worths it.
We travelled to Germany in our car to visit our son who lives in Berlin. We have an EV so our choice of hotels was influenced by two factors - the availability of secure parking and a charger. The Bellman Hotel has neither, despite the hotel description on your site.
Moreover, the place gives a very good impression of being only half finished.
The ”car park” is in fact a yard with a construction fence around it with a base that can only be described as rubble.
The actual underground car park is not available and neither is the charger(s) in it.
