It was the hotel we stayed at during a short weekend in Jacksonville while on a business trip in Florida. The location was great and the place was quiet. There weren’t any major downsides.

While the views and vibes were good. The hotel staff presented great customer service. We were in town for a track meet and with early morning starts we were very disappointed that the advertised breakfast with we were given tickets for at check in wasn't available not even for one day of our stay. This was very inconvenient and there was no compensation offered or given.

Very nice hotel and stay. Just a few things that kept me from giving it 5 stars. First was the desk chair. It wasn't completely functional. The adjustment lever would get stuck if you tried to use it, so you were stuck with the chair in the current settings. Second was the coffee. For some reason, they only had 1 regular coffee and 3 decaffeinated coffees. Third, the hotel didn't clean the room on the second day. I was hoping they would provide additional coffee, sugars, and creamers, but they didn't come by at all. Everything else was outstanding. I loved the room I was in. The studio had a couch with a large swivel TV. The kitchen had everything I needed, and the bathroom was clean, bright, and modern. The complimentary breakfast had a lot of hot options, which was great.

After booking reservations online, I arrived at the hotel and was checked in for my 3day/2night grief vacation. The next morning, I received notification from my bank with three pending transactions from the hotel for double the charges. I quickly went down to the front desk to get clarification on why. I was informed that they were not sure why I was charged but assured me that it was corrected in their system and the cost would only be be what I booked online. I explained to the clerk that my money was being held in PENDING transactions which means I have no money available to spend for food and gas. They quickly apologized and gave me a discount but it still didn’t change the fact that my money was still pending. I drove back home with the assurance the clerk cancelled the double transactions. I contacted my bank and I had to wait three days for everything to clear. This trip was suppose to be relaxing and soul searching yet I was stressed and depressed.

As a solo traveler, I felt truly welcomed and safe throughout my stay. The room was clean and spacious. The location was outstanding, making it convenient to explore the area. Overall, I had a great experience and look forward to staying here again in the near future.

It was very clean and nice. The only downfall was. They had a lot of ways to make extra money off of you without you knowing it was almost like they would put things out for you to get and then tell you afterwards. Oh, you have to pay for that. it was quite different than most hotels we have ever been to

Hotel is ok not great. The breakfast is disgusting. I do not recommend. Plus it cost extra. The hotel room was decent like a typical hotel room. Our bedroom had a sheet on it instead of a fitted sheet. The cleaning lady said they do that when they run out of fitted sheets instead of looking for a fitted sheet. Our  room door was already open when we went to the room. The check out time was 12 noon but our room key deactivated at 10am and locked us out of the room.  Definitely a -3 star hotel.

It was difficult to call the front desk due to the land line got zapped by lightning so we couldn't get picked up by shuttle from airport.  Other than that, the hotel was good.  We particularly enjoyed the pool with warm water.  There was a bistro in lobby that was opened until 10pm and you can also buy snacks and sandwiches at front desk 24hr.  We use the free shuttle service to airport at 5:30am and we were told they start shuttle service at 4am.
