The Squirrels Nest is a quaint, historic log cabin overlooking the James River in Buchanan, Virginia. It is available as a vacation rental with a two (2) night minimum stay. There are three bedrooms and two baths and can accommodate up to six (6) guests. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and Bedroom 3 has two twin beds. A favorite pastime is searching Craig’s creek for heart shaped rocks and hiking/biking numerous roads and trails located 1 mile west of our cabin in the adjacent Jefferson national forest. Note.
