DdjazmyGreat location, just a few minutes from Jam Gadang. The place is very clean and smells good. No lift here. Breakfast was nice. No aircond but the weather is cold enough.

SSketoverall we are happy, clean hotel nice staff, bedroom lighting is a bit dark. food is not bad. Nice open veranda on the 9th floor which is nice to sit and enjoy the sunset. GOOD HOTEL TO STAY IN bUKIT tINGGI

AAndriaHmm, an old hotel, if your like brand new hotel perhaps you must skip tgis hotel. The room just so so, but have smart TV.
Breakfast just rice and fried noodle with eggs, bread and some dessert.
The location so close to the famous Jam Gadang

匿匿名ユーザーThe room condition is not so satisfying. Their toilet got bad leaking problem. My room gets banjir 😅 But because their staff service are exceptional , so my stay here was good. Their breakfast also very nice. I miss their breakfast already.

SSyahmi WazerEverything is just nice. Breakfast is so delicious! I’m from Malaysia, but I can skip some of my Minang/Padang food hunting because they also provide local dishes, which are really tasty. The location is very close to Jam Gadang—within walking distance. The staff are friendly too.
The only thing that made me feel a bit uncomfortable was this: I didn’t hang the “I need room cleaning” tag on my door because I was still in the room. A cleaning staff member knocked and said “room cleaning,” but I didn’t respond since I was still inside and hadn’t requested cleaning. Then, the staff used a key card to open the door. I felt a bit violated, though it wasn’t a big issue for me as I was alone and fully dressed.
However, it would be better if staff didn’t enter unless there’s a clear request for cleaning—just in case someone is inside and not properly dressed.

PPfeifferHotel has changed name to Monopoli Inn but still reflected as Paviliun in many sites.
Hotel is in a aging building which needs much renovation. Can be musky when weather is extremely wet. Breakfast is at adjacent Monopoli Hotel.
Location is right at centre of town. Heritage building has good photo opportunities, at the inn and the adjacent hotel.

YYolly Rita KarwurIni sepertinya udah kali yg ke 5 sy stay di benteng hotel. Pertama kali kami memilih stay di sini karena harga yg pas & sangat dekat ke benteng & kebun binatang. Kalo mau ke jam Gadang juga dekat sekitar 10 menitan. Pelayanannya ramah. Bersih jga. Cuma parkir yg mepet2. Sarapan ya biasa aja.
