My wife and I recently escaped to Arendsrus for a quick breakaway, and it was absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a place that feels ”off-the-grid” and immersed in nature without sacrificing luxury, this is it. The setting at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains is spectacular. The wooden chalets offer a sense of total privacy and a ”wilderness” vibe that immediately makes you forget the hustle of daily life. The attention to detail is top-notch, especially the 800-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets—it’s clear the hosts care deeply about guest comfort. The absolute highlight of our stay was the a la carte breakfast served directly to our room. It was delicious, beautifully presented, and allowed us to enjoy a slow morning soaking in the views from our balcony in total peace. The hospitality was warm and genuine, and the entire atmosphere is one of tranquility and refined rustic charm. It truly is a hidden gem on the Garden Route. We left feeling completely refreshed and can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful rooms. Fantastic facilities both golf and leisure. Loved Amanita and La Cantina. Manet and sushi restaurant are both good but not as special as expected. Staff are excellent around whole hotel.

I booked a trip for my mom. She had to stay close to the hospital in town because of a family emergency. I told the staff this, and they took extra special care of my mom. They even included a free breakfast for her for both days, which was not paid for. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and everyone was friendly and helpful to her. The nature was also top-tier, and she had a pleasant day during this tough trip.

部屋は完璧に清潔で、家具、マットレス、寝具も新品です。受付スタッフは親切で、問題解決にも迅速に対応してくれます。しかし、部屋のデザインがオフィスのような雰囲気なのが気になります。もっと明るい色調にすれば、部屋がもっと居心地の良い空間になると思います。また、スタッフの方々が不当な扱いを受けているのが気の毒です。外にいる男性は、門を開けるために一日中ポーチに立っていなければなりません！暑くて晴れている日でも、寒くて風の強い日でも、座る場所がありません。座れる別の部屋を用意してあげたらどうでしょうか？門にカメラを設置すれば、車が近づいてきたら門を開けることができます。簡単な解決策です！受付係には椅子すらありませんか？どうしてそんなことがあり得るのでしょうか？疲れていたり、足がむくんでいたりしたら、どうやってお客様をお迎えできるのでしょうか？お客様にとっては、受付係が立っていても座っていても関係ありませんが、受付係にとっては大きな問題なのです！従業員を大切にすれば、彼らも必ず応えてくれますよ！ 貴ホテルと従業員の皆様にとって、良い変化が起こることを心から願っています！

From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The room was spotlessly clean and well-appointed, with beautiful views. We enjoyed dining at the hotel's restaurant, ordering from the a la carte menu. The food was absolutely delicious - fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. The service was attentive and prompt as well. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at The Wilderness Hotel. The combination of the beautiful natural setting, the hospitable staff, and the excellent dining made for a truly memorable stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a rejuvenating retreat in a stunning environment, close to the beach.

写真を撮りませんでした、ごめんなさい！ジョージ空港から約10kmですが、市内には行かず、ビーチに行きます。ホテルはもともとハイアットが所有していました。どういうわけか、独立したホテルになりました。オーシャンビュールームとの絶景が見渡せるお部屋で、反対方向はオーシャンビュールームではありませんが、ゴルフ場に面しており、カーテンが開いており、目は緑色です。朝食はとても、とてもおいしかったです、たくさんの果物と寿司！数回滞在しました。非常に満足
