A wonderful hotel in York, just a 10-minute walk from the Minster. We loved the charming local bakery next door—fresh bread and delicious coffee every morning were a real treat. The host was incredibly friendly and gave us great tips on what to see around the city. The highlight was the well-equipped pantry, which made it easy to store food and prepare light meals during our stay. We’ll definitely be back!

The Galtres... A perfect place to stay in York. Location is great, central, surrounded by pubs, shops, bars, restaurant, a few steps from York Minster, couple of minutes walk to the Shambles, 13 minute walk from the train station. Our room was spotless, checking in was easy, arrived 3 hours early, but room was ready so accessed that straight away. Little bit quirky, I guess no two rooms the same, old fireplace, massive mirrors and a Wimbledon wicker basket at decor. Breakfast was amazing, gorgeous food, great selection and waiting staff always happy to help. Didn't eat there at other times, but the restaurant always looked busy inside and out. Two minor faults, could have squoze a small dressing table/desk into the room, and be prepared for a small amount of noise in the morning with delivery vehicles around, not a big problem though. I would definitely visit again, and recommend anyone visiting York to look at this place as somewhere really nice to stay.

バイキングズに滞在するのはとても良い経験でした。次回ヨークを訪れるときは絶対にまた泊まりに行きます。市内中心部まで徒歩15分で、近くにカフェやショップもいくつかあります。

ヨークのセーフステイは、特に電車で到着する場合に最適な宿泊施設です。駅から数分歩くだけで、主要な観光スポットにも非常に近いです。 私たちは地下の部屋に宿泊しましたが、豪華ではありませんでしたが、必要なものはすべて揃っていました。部屋は広々としていて清潔で、ベッドは快適でした。部屋には除湿機が備え付けられていたので、カビ臭く湿っぽい匂いはありませんでした。外は凍えるほど寒かったのですが、ラジエーターのおかげで部屋は十分に暖かでした。 ただ、バスルームはかなり狭く、シャワーから出た後にバスマットが用意されていませんでした。シャワーのお湯は十分に温まらず、ぬるま湯のままでした。 朝食は値段の割に美味しかったのですが、大人数で宿泊するとかなり騒がしくなることがありました。フルーツやヨーグルト、クロワッサンをすべて「テイクアウト」で持ち帰る人も見かけました。 スタッフはフレンドリーでとても親切でした。 全体的には素晴らしい宿泊先だったので、誰にでもお勧めします。

南からヨークへ向かう幹線道路沿いにある美しい古いパブ。裏手に駐車場あり。ヨーク・ミンスターまでは徒歩約20分で、クリフォード・タワーとシャンブルズを通ります。部屋はとても清潔で整頓されており、シンプルかつ趣味良く装飾されていました。シャワーは熱く、効率よく出ました。私たちはもう少し硬めのベッドの方が好みですが、よく眠れました。パブは幹線道路沿いにありますが、夜は静かで、バーの客に邪魔されることもありませんでした（木曜日に宿泊しました）。ビールは美味しく、私はウェインライト・ゴールドを1パイント飲みました。スタッフはとてもフレンドリーで親切で、私たちは間違いなくまた泊まりたいと思います。大手ブランドよりも、このような地元のビジネスを支援する方がずっと良いです。妻は中国人で、中華風の朝食を食べたがっていたので、ホテルから徒歩約10分のヌードル・レーンという店を見つけました。値段は高かったですが、本格的でした。

Asked for a twin room instead of double on booking, was given a double. The room was very small with a tiny shower room/ bathroom that there was barely enough room to stand let alone dry yourself in. The shower head holder did not stay in position so had to be held, shower curtain was old and unplesant, water went all over the bathroom floor. There was no hairdryer.

Positives: well priced, beautiful location, breakfast included. Negatives: the older man on reception would not acknowledge me at check in, despite it being booked and paid for by myself (a female), he insisted on only discussing check in with my partner (male). Sexism is not what I was expecting at a country hotel. Second issue was the floorboards were INCREDIBLY squeaky. I was woken at 5am by the room above me walking around and I’m aware when I walked around the floor in my room was just as squeaky. It was annoying and disruptive. The hotel was pretty and well kept outside but it is not what is shown in the first image on Trip. Inside the room was a little dated and could’ve been cleaner.

ダイアモンズ インでの滞在は素晴らしかったです。建物の最上階にあるスタンダード スイートのバスルーム付き 3 ベッドルームを予約しました。とても趣のあるコンパクトなバスルーム付きファミリー ルームで、友人や家族のグループに最適です。タオル、シャンプー、シャワー ジェルなど、基本的なアメニティがすべて揃っています。電気ポット、コーヒー/紅茶、ヘア ドライヤー、小型冷蔵庫もあります。ベッドは柔らかくて快適です。壁が薄く、日中は廊下にいる他の宿泊客の声が聞こえるかもしれませんが、私たちの滞在中は大きな問題にはなりませんでした。午後 10 時以降はほとんど静かでした。場所はとても便利で、有名な壁の入り口の 1 つ、向かいのパブとレストラン、ヨーク ミンスターから目と鼻の先です。ホストも素敵でフレンドリーで、早めのチェックインができるか電話で尋ね、快く対応してくれました。

Room was nice and not too far walk from the city centre. But after checking my bank account the day after I noticed the hotel had taken £50.00 from my account. When I called to check, I was told it was a deposit to protect against damage to the room. I was not made aware this was being taken and did not give any authority for them to take the payment. I found this very concerning and I now have to wait a few days to receive the refund. So please be warned before booking..

ทางเข้าหาอยาก ไม่มีพนักงานตอนรับ และ ระหัสที่ส่งให้ ทางเมล์ ใช้ไม่ได้ ต้องโทรไป ขอ และถ้าคนต่างชาติไม่มีเบอร์ภายในประเทศ ค่าโทรแพงมาก และ พนักงาน สำเนียง ไม่ใช้ อังกฤษ หรืออเมริกัน ฟังยากมาก ตัวเลข ฟังไม่ออก จนมีเพื่อนบ้านมาช่วยฟัง โดยรวม ไม่ ok The entrance is difficult to find, there is no receptionist, and the code sent via email does not work. You have to call to ask for it. If you are a foreigner and do not have a local number, the call fee is very expensive. The staff's accent is not British or American, which is very difficult to understand. I could not understand the numbers until a neighbor came to help me listen. Overall, it is not okay.
