Star Hotel Inn Alisa, Muar I had a very pleasant stay at Star Hotel Inn Alisa. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and easy. The room was very clean, well-ventilated, cool, and comfortable, with a warm and homely feeling. The location is very convenient, with many food options nearby. There is a 99 Mini Market right next door, which is very helpful if you forget to bring any personal toiletries or daily necessities. In the evening, the outdoor area is cool and breezy, making it a nice place to sit and relax. At night, the room was quiet and not affected by traffic noise, so I slept very well. Overall, it was a great experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Muar, especially for short stays or visiting family.

Was not able to stay in because was misstakeen the distance from the homestay to my friends house but the host is so nice and a very fast replier. Hopefully can stay there one day

The room I stayed is at level 1. Japanese style room, ceiling is low, floor is squeeky, bed is hard and can feel the spring. Wall is very thin. Can hear the lift going up and down, doors of other rooms close and open. Water tap shower tap running noises from other rooms. It felt like a shoe box and we felt very uneasy. Not recommended to bring baby for this stay, woke up many times by loud noises. And not advisable for ppl who dislike small spaces. I paid the same price and had a better room. This ‘Japanese’ style room is just a fancy word for ‘cheap small things mattress room’. Not worth it. The receptionist said that it’s the room type and must mention that you want European style instead. I told him who knows the description and room pictures are so deceiving. Honestly hated the stay. Couldn’t sleep the entire night. Can’t wait to check out first thing in the morning.
