The hotel was so lovely, clean excellent food, location was beautiful-I had an injury and the staff ensured I was well looked after and went above and beyond - family run hotel with staff that are exemplary!

Gorgeous hotel in lush surroundings, on the stunning Maxwell Beach, next door to Sandals. The private beach was my favourite. Our junior suite was spotless, with a sea view, where we could hear the waves. Every one of the staff were super friendly, polite & helpful.  Hard to fault! I loved it here.

部屋に到着すると、ヘッドボードが非常に汚れていて、長い間そこにあったと思われる油染みがありました。メイドさんも非常に汚れているとは認めましたが、部屋を変更する提案はなく、汚れたヘッドボードがかなり長い間その状態であったことは明らかでした。また、ここに滞在している間に何度も刺されました。蚊かノミでしょうか? 3泊しましたが、チェックアウトした後に初めて、ホテルがヘッドボードのスチームと清掃を計画していました。また、108号室は、部屋のドアの向かいが深夜の音楽バーであり、大音量の音楽のせいで午前2時半まで眠れなかったため、非常に騒がしい部屋でした。

Dover Beach hotel is a very adequate mid range choice. The rooms are large and cleaned to a high standard and the facilities are in keeping with a mid sized hotel. We found the reception staff in the main personable and friendly. Location for Lawrence Gap and the airport is good but a car is advisable if you want to visit the West side of the island.. All things considered we enjoyed our short stay at this hotel.

The Hotel Maxwell del Mar was very comfortable and extremely well positioned. We had everything we needed and would definitely stay there again. Although the restaurant and bar are only open over the weekend, there are plenty of excellent other establishments very close by. Also the room is well equipped with a fridge, microwave oven and kettle so you can provide for yourself if you want a night in. The local beach, which is stunning, is Maxwell Beach and is only a very short walk from the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location, right opposite lovely Rockley beach and close to many restaurants.There's also a supermarket nearby. Staff are lovely and very helpful. They will help arrange excursions and have good recommendations for local restaurants. My room was very comfortable and quiet and the balcony is a lovely place to sit to watch the world by. I also had a pleasant drink in the bar one afternoon and the wine was excellent (South African chenin blanc). I heard no noise at all from either other rooms or the street, and the aircon was pretty quiet. Breakfast was adequate for me as I'm not a huge breakfast eater but some may find the choice and variety rather limited. The granola was very tastynand fresh eggs can be cooked on request. The only negative was that there was no hot water from the shower for the short duration of my stay which was disappointing (I did let it run for several minutes as advised by front desk). Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

Excellent location, staff fantadtic, always available, BBQ,singers happy hours . Beach amenities brilliant. Only fault I would say we had a junior suite and would expect a kitchen of some kind

Location is perfect, tons of restaurants and nightlife is lit in The Gap. Fifteen minutes away from airport. The room has good enough space with a terrace overlooking the pool. The restaurant located in hotel serves good food and drinks with friendly staff. Front desk was helpful with any questions or issues. Definitely recommend staying here if visiting Barbados.
