カナダノバスコシア州で、バーのあるホテル

ホテル自体には全く不満はありませんが、レストラン「Hidden Gem」については文句のつけようがありません！ 近くにレストランの選択肢がなかったので、ほとんどの人はホテル内のレストラン「Hidden Gem」に行くことになりました。席に着くまで少なくとも20分、注文を受けるまでさらに20～30分待ちました。でも、夫が注文したビールは驚くほど早く来ました！料理が出てくるまでまたしても長い待ち時間でした。夫はTraditional Clubを注文しましたが、全く問題ありませんでした。私はシーフードプラッターを注文しましたが、これが今まで食べた中で最悪の料理でした！パン粉をまぶしたホタテを食べたら、いつもより色が濃くて、ホタテがゴムみたいでした！エビも焼きすぎでしたが、少なくとも食べられました。ビールで揚げたハドックは食べられなかった。端っこは固すぎて切れなかったので真ん中を食べてみたが、衣も魚も生焼けで、衣はふやけていて魚は嫌な臭いがした。ウェイターの注意を引こうとしたが10分経ってもダメだったので、彼のいるカウンターへ行きテーブルに来るように頼んだ。料理、特に魚を見せたところ、彼も私と同意見でまずいと言った。彼は料理の乗った皿を持って店に入り、数分後に出てきてシェフが料理は食べられると主張したと言った! 写真に撮っておけばよかった。彼はもう1皿作ると申し出てくれたが、この時点で食欲がなくなっていた! あるいは食事代金の50%を支払うつもりだった。私たちは同意せず、ウェイターはマネージャーに電話した。彼女が来た時、彼女は本当に不愉快で敵対的な人で、サラダを半分とホタテとエビを1尾ずつ食べたので、食事の50%を支払うように要求してきました。さもないとホテルから追い出すと脅されました。すでに午後8時を過ぎていて、長い運転の一日の後だったので、私たちはもう我慢の限界で、50%は払うけどひどいレビューを書くと言いました。彼女は私たちが請求書を受け取る前に戻ってきて、結局、料理を見たから食事代を請求から外すと言いました。謝罪も何もありませんでした！ 本当にがっかりしました。帰国前にもう一度、ノバスコシアの美味しい新鮮なシーフードを楽しみたかったのに、こんな目に遭ったのです！ レストランのスタッフやマネージャーとこんなにひどい経験をしたことはありません！

ホテルの場所はとても良いです、ハリファックスの中心部の桟橋の近く、ショッピングと食事はとても便利です、ホテルの朝食はとても良いです、ホテルの部屋はスイートです、部屋は広くてきれいです。

The Room was clean, dated, but clean. The bed was very comfortable and coming from someone with several lifelong injuries, that's a ig deal. I actually was able to sleep decently. The food in the Hotel's restaurant was really good and the staff were friendly and efficient. My only problem was that there was a mouse that was roaming the dining area. The server apologized and tried to assure me that the hotel has pest control coming in weekly. While a good thing, it didn't give me immediate satisfaction. Used to be that a hotel would make compensation of some kind. Non was offered. But again, the food was terrific and reasonably priced given the location... but, the mice issue is a problem for me.

We enjoyed our stayed our first night, so we decided to extend our stay for extra night. Dont forget to dine at the resturant as they serve great options.

The hotel provided an exceptional stay with clean, comfortable rooms and modern amenities. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The location was perfect, close to major attractions and transportation. Breakfast was delicious with varied options. Highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers.

Very pleasant establishment. Clean room, friendly staff, good food for a dinner takeout and breakfast the next morning. We came in around 8pm from long ride and was greeted with a smile and an offer for takeout dinner from the restaurant on sight when it closed at 9pm. Room was clean, hot shower with good pressure, comfortable beds with warm bedding, good working A/C and a beautiful balcony view, all reasonably priced. Breakfast next morning was friendly, accommodating, fresh and better than a typical hotel included breakfast. Wonderful restaurant atmosphere and design! A very accessible location if you were doing the scenic Cabot Trail or needed a remote getaway. Our cottage was just next to a nice sandy beach. Equipped with swings, a BBQ, and a kitchen, this getaway has the essentials most groups would need. The staff was also very friendly when we arrived and exited. Keep in mind Jul and Aug is the peak season around here so it's reflected in the price. The property is also older so while they keep it clean, some doors and windows might not close well or there are holes in the nets etc. Some fix ups and it could be a great place for a week with the family.

Our family of four really enjoyed staying at the Moxy Halifax. The hotel is fairly new and has a very cool vibe to it. The staff were friendly and service was top notch. We stayed in the room with 4 bunk beds and it came with 4 free drinks at the bar. The beds are spacious enough for my husband and I to share a bed. The amenities provided by the hotel were excellent. They have an amenities cabinet where you help yourself to toothbrushes, toothpastes, body lotion, sanitary pad extra towels etc. Highly recommended!

Very modern room with no carpet! Vinyl flooring in the main area and marble floor in the bathroom. The bed and pillows were soooo comfortable. I was there for work and needed to use the wi-fi to connect for a meeting - all good and ports too plug in located ono the desktop, no digging underneath.  The food was great, beautiful restaurant. Staff were very friendly. Morning breakfast even featured an omelette station, made fresh by the chef to your liking.  Would definitely stay there again!
