Place is great and it’s a ten minute walk from Legoland, I am disappointed however as the booking confirmation made no mention of a credit card surcharge so I could have come prepared with cash.

We went to Legoland and stayed here. It was absolutely worth it — great price, including a discount. The family room cost €90 per night, excluding breakfast. From Legoland, you can take bus number 43 right in front, about 45 minutes, and get off at Vejle station. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Vejle station. The room was nice and clean, with a firm, comfortable bed and air conditioning. Breakfast didn’t have many options, but everything was of good quality — the mushroom cream cheese was especially delicious. What I loved most about this hotel was the beautiful view — I’d give it a perfect score of 100. Around the hotel is a marina with boats, and walking around gives such a wonderful atmosphere. I’m glad I didn’t choose accommodation right in the city near the station, because staying here turned out to be such a great find. The hotel is currently extending which means there is construction work taking place. Due to finish in July 2027. Check in is via a tablet aka self check-in. Staff reluctantly help out as they also look after the bar and food orders!! Hotel was understaffed Sunday evening at 19:30 on 28 Jun2026 when we tried to check in. My booking had an issue around name entry in their booking listthat had to be resolved by staff. Guests wait a long time for help checking in or get a drink. I expected better service from an airport hotel that can monitor how many will be checking in on a given day and staff the reception/bar counter accordingly. I'll try NOT to return to this hotel! Please note there is NO a/c in the hotel rooms!!! They advocate to open a window and then use the fan supplied, but that means noise from planes, construction work and the blackout curtain get in the way of good sleep and cooling of room......

Let’s start with the highlights: the breakfast? Absolutely glorious. I’m talking next-level delicious. The beds? Comfy enough to make you consider skipping sightseeing just to stay tucked in. And the sauna? Yes please - the kind of warmth that feels like a full-body hug from a well-adjusted Scandinavian. Now for the slightly less fabulous: I discovered a bit of mold in the window, which I cleaned myself (you’re welcome, Comwell). Didn’t ruin my stay - just gave me a small DIY moment before coffee. The bathroom had a slightly plastic feel, a bit “budget spa” rather than “boutique hotel,” but hey - it worked fine and had good water pressure, so who’s really complaining? All in all, I’d come back. Comwell Kolding nails the essentials, and if you’re into excellent breakfasts and quality rest, you’re in good hands. Just maybe bring a cloth — just in case. 😄

立地は最高です！スーパーマーケットまで徒歩圏内。部屋は広々としていて、2人なのにベッドが3つも用意されていました。コーヒーマシンがあり、滞在中は様々な種類のコーヒーとチョコレートが無料で楽しめます。チョコレートデラックス、ラテ、カプチーノ、モカを試しましたが、どれも美味しかったです。ホテルでは、アイスクリームやケーキ、フルーツなどの軽食も無料で提供しています。 キッチンには電子レンジ、オーブン、コンロが備え付けられていて、清潔です！ステーキやサーモンなどの料理もそこで作ることができました。スタッフは皆親切で、特に若くてハンサムな男性スタッフは素晴らしかったです。 このホテルは本当にコストパフォーマンスが良いです。

The location is excellent, just in front of the train station and in front of the lake. The city is small so everything is by walking. The place is beautiful, is quite old so the floor is of wood and can be noisy sometimes. However, the place was not crowded so we did not notice the noise. Also the rooms are small, warm and quiet. However, you can hear people walking sometimes. The building is old, so do not expect everything perfect. Some connectors are old, plugs, doors, windows. However the place is clean. The staff is amazing, very friendly. The coffee, tea, biscuits are free everyday. It has space to work and for meetings.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient. Check-in and check-out were smooth. The food was good with a nice variety of choices. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would consider staying here again.
