We absolutely love staying at the Bromsgrove Hotel & Spa and honestly wouldn’t choose to stay anywhere else when we’re up here. I first stayed here in 2015 and have been coming back and forth since. I have family close by but we always end up staying a few days at least at a time and going on some adventures with our little one. It’s the perfect location for us. It feels like a real home from home for us every single time. The hotel is always welcoming, and has such a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The swimming pool is a huge favourite for L he absolutely loves it and always gets so excited to go swimming during our stays. It makes such a difference having facilities that he can truly enjoy. What truly makes this place stand out though is the staff. They deserve so much recognition for how amazing, helpful and hardworking they are. Ram, Marie, Luke, Nathan, Chris, Marie, Jason, Dan, ana, faouzi, Abby, Emma, Angel are just a few names to mention, & Phil the chef was 10/10 especially as we have allergens but every single one of them goes above and beyond. They are always friendly, helpful, warm, and genuinely care about their guests. They are especially wonderful with L, which means the world to us because of his additional needs. They make him feel comfortable, included, and happy, and that level of kindness is something you never forget. It’s rare to find somewhere that consistently delivers such amazing service, but this hotel does exactly that every time. We always leave happy and already looking forward to coming back. We also had a lovely girl called Chloe who was housekeeping and she made sure we had everything we needed.  This place deserves to be rated so much higher because it truly is a gem. The Hotel was ideally located to Rail Station, Shops & places of interest. Room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was brilliant. Plenty of choice and freshly cooked. Hotel had Gym facilities, although I did not use them they were there. And most important it had Car Parking which is quite rare. Would certainly stay there again and recommend to others.

We have stayed here several times and fed back to managers about the poor state of the tables & chairs in the breakfast area. Although my feedback (with photos) was not acknowledged, on our last visit just before xmas, we noticed the badly stained and chipped tables had been replaced or refurbished, and the badly stained and dirty seating had been cleaned and/or replaced, so that it now feels comfortable to sit on them. So I'm pleased my feedback may have contributed to these much needed changes. However the window frames in our room were in a terrible state, covered in black mould and in desperate need of repair or replacement. Not a healthy presence to have anywhere. So hopefully this review will be seen by the right person/people and acted upon.

Check in quick. Room was surprisingly large, next to noisy family but can’t be helped. Huge bed! Plus a bed for our soon and a camp bed! Plenty of space and very modern. Tv had no remote so had to go to reception and ask for one. Ordered room service but had to go to desk to pay and told one minute it wouldn’t be ready until gone 6 (an hour after ordering) but turned up within half hour. I’d say that’s the only downside was the conflicting info given by staff. Spa is nice, small pool area and steam and sauna again very small and was super busy so had to wait to enter both. I didn’t stay long as kids only allowed in between 4&6 and I’m morning slot also. Would stay again.

The bed was terrible had a terrible night the mattress was so worn out it completely squashed together as I sat on the bed. When I reported it to reception the lady informed me that they were being replaced but for us not soon enough! Sadley as everything else was ok

The hotel is nicely located, within walking distance of the Cathedral. There are also numerous shops nearby for your basic needs and a wide variety of restaurants. The staff are friendly, and the breakfast is probably one of the best we’ve had anywhere. The pub is definitely a highlight for drinks and gatherings. However, the amenities are old. The door handles and locks don't seem to be secure. The toilet has good running cold and hot water, but they are just too old. But for its size, location and price, it’s still worth it! Just thought of it as staying in an antique house with a lot of history!

The Boot Inn is an old traditional pub and the location is very quiet. I couldn't fault our stay. The room was spacious and clean, the shower was good, and the room facilities (tea, coffee and biscuits) were also good. The meal we had was excellent as was the breakfast. One small thing is that, having had a long, hot drive, I was looking forward to a nice pint of bitter, but they only had a citrus hop brew that I'm not keen on. I could have had Guinness though. Would I stay there again? Absolutely! Would I tat there again? Absolutely!

A beautiful location with stunning views. The hotel interior was a perfect mix of traditional and contemporary. Our room was right at the top of the building and, although very small, it was well designed and very clean. The service was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough to help you. We had dinner in the bar, which was tasty and arrived quickly and hot! All in all, The Cottage in the Woods is a perfect place for a quiet break with a little luxury. We will definitely be returning.

Amazing value, excellent amenities- the jacuzzi was fabulous! Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to make the stay a good one. Food in the bar and restaurant was of excellent quality. Lots to choose from at breakfast - will definitely go again
