Centrally located close to domestic airport, gas station and supermarket. Hotel appears to be converted from an old building but is nicely maintained with a charming lobby. Room size is bigger than other Iceland hotels. Shower is only separated from toilet by a shower curtain, so bathroom would get a bit wet but not a big issue. Both dinner and breakfast are good. Better reserve for dinner as it gets busy. O sure washing machine is handy, although may need to wait a bit as there is only one machine. Staff are generally helpful. Overall a pleasant stay.
We love the town and the place itself. Staff are so nice, they make sure that we know all the needed information before arriving that is very useful. Food are delicious and affordable. The room is very clean and warm.
Nice hostel with common shared space and kitchen, next to Nettó supermarket. There is a laundromat next door (at the camping place), used with extra fee. 30 mins drive from the Hengifoss
Fosshotel is the best hotel chain in Iceland. This Fosshotel is located by the East Fjord, with beautiful view. Receptionist Kamila is very nice and helpful. She helped us change to a nice room with balcony. Room is nice with decent size, very clean, with minifridge and safe box. Highly recommend.
Tten tena charming hotel in a small town, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The room was cozy and well-decorated, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, I did find the kitchen lacking; it would have been more convenient to have an induction stove and a microwave, along with some basic cooking equipment like pots and pans. While there was a supermarket across the road, stocking up on raw food proved challenging for a short stay. Additionally, the absence of nearby restaurants made dining options limited. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel provided a comfortable base for my visit.

ゲゲストRoom is great. We had the whole house to ourselves. Check in was a bit confusing at first but was able to figure it out eventually. Nice place to stay in to experience a local housing.
We had a nice view of the church just beside the house. We paid for breakfast. The spread was ok and the lady serving us was nice. Made us hot chocolate and espresso 😊
ゲゲストAccommodation is situated in a remote area, where the actual lodging is a short drive in from the main reception area. Very basic accommodation, where even the hot water is limited! But given that it is family-run, the customer service was wonderful. I was freezing under my comforter and the staff brought a portable heater to our room.
