It was such a quaint place, but unfortunately all week we were there it was under construction, so noise from hammering and drilling was very annoying since this was booked specifically for meditation and writing of my book.
Really lovely hotel. Everything great, only downside was the location. We hadn’t realised how far out it was from everything. Great for seeing northern lights but at least a 2 hour drive to lots of the popular sights.
Our apartment was not ready when we arrived at around 4pm, we have to wait for about 45 mins. Have to pay to use the hot springs and pay to buy the laundry detergent. The apartment came with a washer but not a dryer.
BBkk queenEverything was great about this place. The staff was very friendly and nice. The room was extremely clean with everything. The shower was wonderful with very hot water. The breakfast included was superb. And we got to see the Northern Lights.

ゲゲストWe had a great stay at the end of our trip, rooms are comfortable and clean. They have a great restaurant, one of the best dinners we had in Iceland. The breakfast is also good.
ゲゲストHotel Fransiskus is a former monestary and still has a church and a seniors facility attached to the building. My room was modest in size, but the amenities were good and I enjoyed the view of the ships as well as the opening window which allowed me to enjoy the sea breeze. The young man at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.
