There are so many things going for this hotel. The first is available private parking so close to the town centre. The rest in order are; 1. Extremely welcoming and helpful proprietor, Dan. 2. Extremely comfortable and spacious bedroom. 3. Extensive choice for breakfast. 4. Well stocked bar with reasonable prices. An excellent two day stay helped by unseasonably mild weather. Look no further in LLandudno if looking to stay.
Visited December 2024. We stayed overnight at the hotel during the Christmas period. A pleasant Victorian era building, an easy five-minute walk to Llandudno Bay and town centre, and a ten-minute walk to the stunning West Beach. A cosy comfortable ensuite room, with tea & coffee making facilities and a warm welcome. Breakfast was super, as was all of our stay. Loved it.

Stay for a weekend in December. A family of 4 sharing a room. Decent size room. Clean with kettle provided. Shower was nice with decent pressure just took a bit of fiddling to find the right water temperature. Towels where provided and extra tea and coffe where available in reception. No meals available but there is a wetherspoons over the road so that is good.
Friendly staff, hotel manager was very helpful. We had a 2 night stay and had no hot water so received a gift voucher as they had no more rooms available

Warm welcome. Our premier sea view room was spacious, very clean and well equipped. Good sized bathroom. Hostess tray well stocked. Convenient location near to the pier and shopping street. Free parking on first come first served basis. Very good choice at breakfast. Staff pleasant and efficient. Would recommend this sea front hotel. Did not have evening meal in hotel as menu not to our taste.

Me and my partner and son had a wonderful experience at this beautiful hotel. The lady on the reception was really lovely and very helpful. The staff made us feel like royalty. The room was very clean and cozy, and the evening meal was incredible tasty, the staff looked after us at all times. And the breakfast was amazing. We will definitely book again. Just returned from the Wildings Hotel after spending three days over Christmas there. We had the most amazing time, Staff couldnt do enough, food top quality and deliciously cooked and served. Such a welcoming happy atmosphere.Room with sea view, plenty of space. Definitely recommend .

Booked this hotel last minute and stayed for 3 nights. I did not read any of the reviews on TripAdvisor if I had would not have booked here. Pro's - Hotel is a less then 10 minute walk from train station. Hotel faces the promenade- sea. - 5 minute walk into town. - Wardrobe to put cloths in which held a hairdryer and kettle - free breakfast, was okay nothing special; only thing they only serve between 830 and 10am - staff friendly and polite Con's - Upon an early arrival before 3pm, they had no secure area to hold luggage; it was left out side the office. This is not appropriate. - Upon return checked in and was informed there was no food allowed in the rooms, the reason behind this as guest had complained about the smell. Was told if I wanted to bring in food had to eat in the bar area. If you took food into room there was a 150.00 pound fine. This is not indicated on there website. - I had booked a single room. My room looked nothing like the picture they have on the website which shows a light on wall above the bed and phone, courtyard view- room was dark and faced a wall. - My room only had a bed, night stand, ceiling light, no phone, bed pushed up against the wall with outlets on that wall which you could not use, they also looked old and unsafe. There was an outlet at head of bed by door which was accessible - sink in bathroom cracked - no outlet in bathroom - to use the hairdryer by the mirror, had to try and access the outlet behind the wardrobe yep not very convenient - WiFi only available in reception area - Advertised on web site they have a restaurant- they have a breakfast room in the basement - Curtains in room old and dirty - NO HEAT - it got cold the days I was there. On my second night I arrived back in the evening to find my window wide open. room freezing. I closed the window. Hour later my room was still cold and I had no heat. I went to the desk and spoke with the lady that was on requesting that my window not be left open as weather wet and cold and she said to me that the housekeeper have to open the windows as they can not breath in my air while they are cleaning she then proceed to say heat is on room will get warm up. I explained to her my room had no heat. She said the heat was on. I told her not in my room. She came to the room and checked the radiator tuned some knobs and said it is working. I made it clear that if the housekeeper wanted the window open while she cleans that was fine but it was to be closed before she left the room not only was it wet and cold but was totally unsafe as I was on the ground floor Hour later I still had no heat, I went back to her and let her know, she then said the heat would not come on until later in the night. I looked at her and said my room is very cold what I am supposed to do. She did nothing. The next morning I went back to the desk and spoke with who I believe was the manager and let him know my room had no heat and I had spoken to the lady that was working in th

1- the breakfast was really good. That's the ONLY good thing to happen 2- Damp in the bathroom 3- Mold behind the bathroom taps 4- Shower didn't work. Could only have a bath 5- Wallpaper peeling off the ceiling and wall 6- Curtains not fitted on the rails 7- Window was filthy inside and outside 8- bed was on a tilt ( if I slept on the leaning tower of Pisa I would have been better) 9- My bed had broken slats 10- Other bed was really squeaky 11- Hole in the wall in the bathroom 12- No toilet brush 13- No extra towels ( including hand towels) 14- was told couldn't have breakfast on the Monday when we stayed 15- Never a member of staff when needed them 16- Bar was not open 17- Lift didn't work plus it was way too small for me 18- window didn't close plus other one didn't open. 19- beautiful seaview but have to go up on a step to see it 20- Door is very loud and can't keep it open if needed 21- Loose light fittings above both beds 22- Old blankets in the wardrobes 23- Dirt on top of the wardrobe 24- No bin in the room only a tiny bin in the bathroom 25- Owner didn't seem to like talking to guests 26- unwanted person knocking on my door at 6:18am. My dad and I stayed at Bryn Y Don in Llandudno, and it was lovely! The location is spot-on—really close to the promenade and the pier and everything we wanted to see. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served right on time every morning, and it was tasty and fresh. Overall, very nice place to stay at.

A lift available to all floors, room was nice and clean, en-suite was also clean and tidy with underfloor heating, which was a nice surprise., reception area was nice and tidy too, shown how to use the front door as it gets locked in the evening. Chose to eat breakfast at the hotel, full breakfast from £8.50p with a vegetarian option, no evening meals available but other hotels near by and some pubs serve food. Saturday morning I went around the Great Orme it really does have fantastic views, benches are dotted around so you can sit and take in the views.

My wife and I stayed at The Grand hotel from 03/05/24 to 06/05/24. The location of this hotel is excellent with lovely views over the Irish sea. I paid extra for a sea view as we wanted to look out over the sea. When my wife and I entered the room after checking in we found that the room and the bathroom were very clean and tidy, we couldn't fault the cleanliness. Our room had a kettle and a coffee machine which was good, but Kenco coffee, which is not so good, bad tasting coffee. Also, in the room is mobile electric radiators, which we did use even though it was the month of May! Also, there was always plenty of hot water to have a nice warm shower.That's the plus side of my review. Now the negative side: The hotel itself is old, in its heyday, I think that it would have been a very impressive building. But now in 2024, it needs a good refurbishment which would cost £millions. We noticed in the bedroom that was allocated to us that there were no bedside tables/cabinets, also, no bedside lights. This, we thought, was rather strange as every hotel that we have stayed in has bedside lamps. The bedroom furniture was kind of weird. As my wife said: ” it looks like the hotel owners have bought it from a charity shop”! See photos attached. Another negative is that the hotel doesn't have its own parking facilities. Residents are required to park in the street and at a daily cost of £7, which I had to pay for 2 days, as the third day we checked out before 10am. We only discovered after arriving in the hotel that there is no wifi in the rooms! Both of us were shocked by this to say the least. But, if guests want wifi access in the rooms then they have to pay. I think that reception told us that it's £7.00 or £7.50 per day! After paying £423 for 3 nights I thought that it was outrageous for the hotel reception to ask for £7.50 for wifi access. But they said that it is the owner's policy, owner being Britannia. Well, Britannia didn't get £7 - £7.50 from us. パートナー、2人のティーンエイジャーと両親と一緒に学校のホールを訪れました。ホテルは素晴らしいロケーションにあり、正面、桟橋、バー/レストランから数分です。中は時代遅れですが快適で、最上階にありました。私たちの部屋はオルムの素晴らしい景色を眺めることができ、両親は部分的な海の景色を眺めました。朝食はとても素敵で、フル英語、選択、ジュース、シリアル、マフィン、ジャムなど、複数のオプションがあります。スタッフはとてもフレンドリーで親切です。良い選択。
