For almost two years I have been staying at this hotel. Centrally it is in a good place. It's within walking distance to a greak bakery across the street, a coffee shop half a block, an Oxxo one block and some good restaurants all within walking distance. The bellmen are great and pretty friendly with one remembering me because I leave a coffee maker for my personal use. Front desk pwople are usually pretty friendly and professional. The outside of the property and parking area are well kept and clean. There is free parking on site for guests. The rooms are very clean an well stocked with free water daily, good towels and clean bedding. I've found housekeeping very friendly. Theres one housekeeper, an older lady whos very sweet about stocking the room and any extras needed. I'll be sure to get her name when Im back in Sept. There are a few misses though. And this isnt meant to slam the hotel just some ideas to make it even better. The mattresses can be harder than most I've slept on traveling. I think this is a México thing as Ive stayed at other properties around the country and theyve all had hard mattresses. It would be nice if there was a loyalty program to encourage repeat stays. There's no coffee pot/maker. Like I said before I bought a coffee maker and leave it for my use when I stay. Providing even a one cup maker would be great. One last thing to make the room great, an iron and iron board. A lot of my shirts need to be ironed. I could buy the stuff and leave it but that might be a bit much. So now I bring a small steamer with me and it works well. Despite the small things listed, as long as staff are friendly and rooms and property are well equipped and clean I will continue to stay here.
Wonderful, large apartment, in a beautiful location; wonderful bed/pillows/bathroom/shower; Wonderful friendly Cecelia made breakfast for us each day. Bottled water available... but spotty service; Couldn't communicate by email or by phone prior to arrival, despite several efforts, including whatsapp. Front desk staff: made commitments but never followed thru (such as: would provide a ”do not disturb ” sign, would provide bottled water for fridge in room; only a security guard at check in after 9 or so at night; mostly saw him asleep in lobby. If I needed to stay in a place for more than a few days, would consider renting one of these units.
The staff at the hotel were pretty nice, their were fluence in English, so don't worry about communication. Food option at the restaurant was fine, I like the fruit and yogurt they served for breakfast. But the service could have been better. It was really hard to get a waiter for a coffee or even a check...
Stayed here one night for the Depeche Mode concert. It was our last night in Mexico City and we liked that we could avoid the nightmare traffic of leaving the concert by walking and it’s only 10 minutes away from the airport. The service was good, ever one we encountered was really nice. Our room 413 was very comfortable. The beds are firm but comfortable, and you couldn’t hear any street traffic. The area itself isn’t the best for sightseeing, but there’s a few options for food within walking distance. The room layout was a little strange with the shower opening up to the beds and light switches everywhere but overall would recommend for a night’s stay. Would stay here again for a concert.

ゲゲストThe apartments are impeccable. They are tastefully furnished with a contemporary style, including furniture and artworks. The apartment had two large bedrooms, and the master bedroom had its own bathroom and TV. The living room is fully furnished and also has a TV. The kitchen has all the amenities. It is a quiet building in a relatively quiet street. The concierge was very nice. The only problem we had is that we didn't realize we had to email them in advance our arrival. We thought it was a hotel, so didn't realize we had arrived at the place as we didn't see any signs. You must let them know in advance when you arrive. But this is a great deal. It can easily accommodate two couples.
ゲゲストExceptional Stay at ULIV Mexico City
My stay at ULIV Mexico City was nothing short of outstanding! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They were incredibly friendly, approachable, and always eager to help with any request or question.
The accommodations were modern, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, offering everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location was also ideal, with easy access to some of Mexico City's best attractions, dining spots, and cultural landmarks.
What truly stood out, though, was the level of personalized care provided by the team. Whether it was assisting with recommendations, ensuring everything in the room was perfect, or just greeting me with a warm smile, their hospitality made all the difference.
I can't recommend ULIV Mexico City enough. It's clear they prioritize their guests' experiences, and I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit!
ゲゲストThe location is awesome. The hotel is more than basic, the pictures are a bit deceiving. There wasn't even space for us to put our clothes, no wardrobe nothing. Four days and our clothes had to stay in our bags or around the room.
It also didn't have a good mirror, only one in the bathroom which is not convenient.
The hotel is on a 4th or 3rd floor, I honestly can't remember but it was a lot of stairs, and it's inside a building that resembled a small shopping center.
It's walking distance to a lot of attractions, very good location.
The breakfast was good, freshly prepared for each individual. There's a very nice rooftop, don't miss it.
The hotel is not quiet at all, but I guess it's because of the location, it's hard to get a good night sleep if you're easily awakened :)
Upon arrival the man on the checking desk asked me to fill yet another form that had weird questions like if I liked dogs or cats and he said that I had to take a selfie! He said this was for verification reasons and that ”booking” asks him to do so, I told him I already verified my reservation and that I booked via Trip.com, he insisted at first and then when I was firm he said that it's ok and that there was no need.
ゲゲストThe hotel is in a very nice location, a couple of blocks from Avenida Paseo de la Reforma. The room was very clean and there was a walk-in shower in the bathroom. A nice ce upgrade would be to have USB ports by the nightstand.
My issue is with Trip.com. I paid in advance for 3 rooms- one for me and one each for two friends. When I booked the rooms, I listed each of us separately on the online form. I received my confirmation by email and assumed that so did my friends. When we arrived at the hotel, I checked in without issue but when my friends tried to, they were told that no reservation existed for them. This is despite the fact that I had paid by credit card for all three rooms on one transaction. A call to Trips.com did nothing to fix the situation. The reservation number I gave them only had my room listed.
My only option now is to dispute the charge once my credit card statement arrives.
This was a surprisingly practical and quaint boutique hotel in Polanco. It is conveniently located across the street from major high-end hotels such as the W Mexico City, which are outrageously priced. The hotel is really an old villa that was converted to a boutique hotel. The rooms are tiny and basic. Essentially a bedroom with a small bathroom and shower areas. The room was surprisingly cold at night. Breakfast was self-serve. Complimentary bottle of gin in the room. This is a budget alternative to the major hotels in the area. Security at entrance of the property and gated. I would return.
Dated but elegant furniture. Clean and comfortable. Good Location. I stayed during a weekday not too much noise at night. But the bed, I thought I was laying directly on a box spring, it was so hard I had to double check!
